"Hmph! That bastard left me without even saying a word!" Lia shouted, her face twisted with annoyance as she sipped her favourite juice, a vibrant red crimson colour just like her eyes.

Sitting on her bed, still fuming, she replayed the events in her mind, struggling to grasp that Aether had abandoned her without so much as a goodbye. "I thought we were friends," she muttered through gritted teeth, feeling a mix of betrayal and fury churning within her.

How could he do this to her, after everything they had been through together?

"He told Selene but not me!!!" she shouted again, her voice echoing in the room as she flung herself back onto the bed, her emotions boiling over.
