Kapitel 89: Sorry

It was meant to be just another day for Ísar.

He'd woken up rather early, sitting up abruptly with his heart pounding due to a nightmare he couldn't fully remember. The sun had just begun to rise and Xinghua was snoring as heavily as always on his right.

The older boy had woken up to the sounds of Ísar panting, not saying a word as he placed a hand over the young king's rapidly pounding heart and reminded him how to breathe properly. The one thing he remembered from his ominous dreams, deep set and immensely dark sockets where eyes should've been, pinned on him.

Except it had been different that morning. They were usually accompanied by bone chilling laughter, but that nightmare had been filled such immense sadness that Ísar had woken up with silent tears running down his face.

Yet just like the other nightmares he'd been having, he'd decided to put it behind him and try to enjoy his day. And he really did try.
