"And what happens once everything comes crashing down?" Sebastian chuckled. "You should know by now that I'm not capable of loving anyone, and whatever curse she placed on me, I think it worked well, and this is better," Sebastian concluded.

Donovan sighed when he heard Sebastian reply, but he knew there might be a solution somewhere.

"Then bargain with her. Give birth to a son that will take up this position you refused to take." Donovan said bluntly, but Sebastian didn't reply, and there was silence.

"Just fake it with her or take the woman they will be introducing to you and divorce the Avery. If you pass today's test, they won't bother you again." Donovan said, hanging up the call.

Sebastian's fist hit the railing, and his eye gave out a red glow. He tried to tame his anger and walked back into the hall.

"Just for tonight," he mumbled, and he headed to where Avery was.
