Kapitel 204: Tremors and Tension

Sebastian searched around, but distinguishing anything in that deep fog was impossible.

Though, based on the tremors, Sebastian assumed the creature's position had changed since that morning.

It was closer to the breach now, and that wasn't good. Rebecca was safe, yes, but that also meant the miasma traveled in her direction and that she had to move and go farther from the city.

He doubted she fell asleep, or was so careless as to not notice the miasma was going her way. But Sebastian was still uneasy, because something distracting could have happened, and she could have made a fatal mistake.

<Better not to think about it…> The man turned to look at Robert.

The man's face paled as the tremors intensified. Tt looked like the creature was heading their way, and not only Sebastian noticed.

"It's getting closer," Robert said, fear edging his voice.
