Nemuri and Izuku sat in the teacher's dorm common room and watched Toru and Mina play with Eri. "So, how is Toga's treatment going?"

It had been a couple of days since Nemuri returned from her trip with Hirooki. Izuku smiled a bit as Eri giggled excitedly, but his smile faded some as he thought about Himiko's current state. "They're going to re-break her mind soon, then they'll get started on removing the fake memories. Hopefully, it goes well..."

Nemuri squeezed her son's shoulder. "I'm sure it will, Izuku. How about Eri? How has she been adjusting to life at UA?"

"It's going well," Izuku said as he watched his partners. "She's happy and smiling a lot. Nezu said he wants Mr.Aizawa to start training her to control her quirk. There were apparently a couple close calls at night with her having nightmares and lashing out with her quirk."

Nemuri hummed. "Well, it's good to hear she's getting more help."

Izuku nodded. "How was your trip, by the way?"

Nemuri grinned and looked at her ring. "It went really great, but we couldn't see Mt.Fuji. It was too cloudy and foggy while we were there."

"Guess you'll just have to go again."

Nemuri laughed a bit as she said. "I told Hirooki the same thing. They said it sounded like a great idea."

"Are you gonna have a wedding?" Izuku asked, and Nemuri hummed as she tapped her chin.

"We don't know yet. We're busy with UA and hero work, and all of our friends have the same jobs, so lining up schedules would be a nightmare. Once Hirooki and I have some time to talk about it, I'll tell you."

Izuku nodded. "Whatever you choose, I'm happy for your mom."

Nemuri smiled. "Thank you, Izuku."

Today was the day, and Izuku and his partners were feeling nervous as they watched Doctor Reger enter Himiko's room. "Do you not need to go with him?"

Iva looked at Izuku and shook her head. "Nope. I only go along with the first trip if we have to bring someone to help find the source. Typically I stay behind to answer questions and whatnot if anyone has them."

Izuku hummed as he watched the doctor place his hand on Himiko. "I do have a question, but uh... it's not related to the operation."

Iva giggled, and all three of them thought it sounded adorable. "If I can answer, I will."

Mina and Toru chuckled a bit, realizing what their boyfriend was going to ask. Izuku's curiosity won out, and he asked, "What is your quirk?"

Iva covered her mouth as she giggled again. "Is that all? That's an easy one to answer."

Iva sat down as she spoke. "My quirk is called Perfect Translation. I can perfectly translate anything someone says from one language to another. A side effect or secondary effect, I guess, is that It only takes me between a few hours to a day to pick up a new language, and by three days, I'll be fluent."

Izuku stared in wonder, and Iva spotted a notebook that she was pretty sure he didn't have before. "That's amazing. I have some questions. Is it ok if I ask?"

Iva smiled. "Of course. Please ask away."

"How did you learn about your quirk?"

Iva tapped her chin before smiling. "My parents own a general goods shop in Berlin, and above it are two apartments. One was ours and the other we rented out to people visiting the city. One day when I was almost five, we had a French couple stay in the apartment, and just hearing them speak as I hung around the store stirred something in me, and within no time at all, I spoke a few words, and then before they left to head back to France, I was holding conversations with the wife."

"That's amazing. Does knowing other languages help or hinder your ability to learn?" Izuku asked as he scribbled down notes in his book.

"If the languages have the same roots, then it makes it easier. I learned Latin when I was ten, and after that, a lot of European languages got a lot easier for me to learn." iva tapped her chin. "I don't think knowing a language has ever made it harder for me to learn or translate. Though I will say, it took me a week to get English right."

Izuku and his partners chuckled, and Izuku asked. "How did you end up being a translator for a doctor? With your quirk, you would be perfect being a translator for the UN or another organization."

"I could have, and I had considered it back in college, but one day a friend of mine wanted to attend a seminar by Doctor Reger, and while he was speaking, there were some non-German speaking students who were confused by the translator the school had provided Doctor Reger with."

Iva giggled. "I stepped up once the translator got flustered, and afterward, the doctor asked if I would work for him."

Iva looked over as the doctor removed his hand from Himiko's head. "I was interested in his work, and how he helped people, so I decided to just go with it and took the offer. I've been traveling and translating with him ever since then."

"Wow, that's kinda cool," Toru said as Doctor Reger entered and started speaking to Iva, who nodded.

As they spoke, Izuku and his partners looked at Himiko. The blonde girl was lying in bed staring at the ceiling. Her eyes were glazed over and unfocused. Izuku clutched his chest as he felt a pang of something stab at him. She looked so fragile, like she was teetering on the edge again.

Iva cleared her throat, and Izuku looked back at the woman. Her smile softened, and her posture shifted. Izuku could tell just by her subtle movements and how she projected her voice as she spoke that her job may have started as just a translator, but now it was so much more. The Doctor only speaks German, so his non-German-speaking patients won't understand him, meaning Iva has to step up and deal with the grieving and frustrated friends and family.

"The breaking went well. The doctor will need to rest for a couple of hours, and after that, he will begin the first operation and start removing false memories. In the meantime, you can stay here, but please do not enter her room for any reason. Seeing your faces or hearing your voices may cause her distress."

Izuku nodded along with his girlfriends and said. "Understood, and um, please thank the doctor for us."

Iva gave a small chuckle. "Of course. Now, if you'll excuse me, it looks like Doctor Reger is going to fall over any minute now. I best make sure he lays down."

"How did the operation go today?" Momo asked as she set her pen down.

Izuku looked up from the class rep paperwork they were doing and nodded. "It went well. It's slow going, but there haven't been any issues, so we're hopeful."

Momo smiled sadly as she saw how stressed Izuku looked. Toru and Mina had already gone to bed, and despite Momo repeatedly telling Izuku she could handle the paperwork, he insisted on staying and helping. "How about we take a break. Would you like some tea?"

"Um... yeah, sure. Thank you, Momo."

"It's nothing. Why don't you tell me a bit about Toga in the meantime." Momo said as she got up and walked over to the kitchen.

Izuku let out a deep sigh as he tried to relax in his seat at one of the dining tables. "She's... bubbly but also kinda skittish when you poke certain topics."

"That's due to her past, correct? She didn't want you finding out what she did before meeting you and your partners." Momo said as she pulled out one of her tea boxes and started portioning some tea into the teapot.

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, but when you're not getting close to her past, she's very bubbly and loves cute things. She likes using nicknames and doesn't really get the idea of personal space."

Izuku scratched his chin. "I guess skinship is just important to her."

Momo chuckled as she poured the water into the pot. "How did you meet her?"

Izuku smiled a bit and told Momo about how he ran across Himiko getting harassed by some people. He had beaten them up and helped her get away. Momo sighed and shook her head as she poured two cups of tea. "You've been getting into trouble since before UA, haven't you?"

Izuku laughed and accepted the cup. "Thank you, and yes, I get into troublesome situations all the time."

Momo shook her head and sipped her tea as Izuku told her more about his interactions with Himiko. She had to admit that the more she learned about the blonde former villain, the more intrigued Momo felt and the more she looked forward to the day when she could meet Himiko in person and speak to her.

Once the tea was gone, the two returned to their work and were done in an hour. Izuku and Momo organized the papers before saying goodnight and going their separate ways.

Izuku smiled as he sat on the couch with the rest of class A. Today was the day the trials for the HPSC would finally be coming to a close. The organization as a whole had been suffering through the proceedings, and while society had lost faith in the name of the Commission, the heroes weren't lying down and doing nothing. Heroes all across Japan were doubling down on the patrols, attending various charity events, and promoting a more just and peaceful world while denouncing the HPSC and their black ops.

"We have a meeting with Doctor Reger and Iva this afternoon. Any idea what they need?" Toru asked as she cuddled closer to Izuku.

Mina, who was latched onto his other side, hummed. "I don't know. They did say they would need our help eventually, but they never went into details."

Izuku hummed as he watched the various members of the HPSC get their sentencing. "Maybe they want us to go in and confirm memories?"

"What like making sure it's only real memories in there?" Toru asked as she smiled, seeing the president of the HPSC throw a full-on tantrum as the police approached him.

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, that makes sense."

Mina sighed. "It'll be nice once we can talk to Himiko again."

Her partners agreed, but their mood dropped slightly as the reporter talked about the heroes involved with the HPSC and the UHD who would receive their sentences later in the month. Seeing Hawks face among the heroes who would be facing punishment felt unfair to them, considering how much work he put in to make all this happen.

Iva smiled as Izuku and his girlfriends entered the observation room. "Hello, you three. It's wonderful to see you. Today is a critical day."

The trio looked at Himiko and was surprised to see her sitting up in bed and looking around confused as she twiddled her thumbs nervously.

"She looks more...aware than usual," Izuku said.

Iva nodded as she kept her smile. "Yes, today we need your help. Over the next week, we'd like to slowly introduce her to people. It may take a moment, and if she struggles to remember something, don't push her to remember; just guide her gently by telling her about what she's trying to remember or move the conversation on."

"W-wait, we can talk to her?" Toru said as she looked at Himiko, then at Iva. "Seriously? Like we can go in and talk to her?"

"Not all at once," Iva said as she held her hands up. "One person today and then someone else tomorrow if she seems up to it."

"W-who should go first?" Mina asked as she looked at her partners.

Iva cleared her throat. "Which one of you three met her first?"

Izuku raised his hand. "I-I did."

"Then, if you wouldn't mind, would you care to head in and speak with Ms.Toga for a bit."

Izuku swallowed and looked at his partners. Mina gave him a firm nod, and Toru squeezed his hand as she said. "Good luck Izu."

Izuku nodded and followed Iva out of the room. "If it seems like she's tired or anything, then please be sure to let her rest."

"Ok... Thank you, Iva, for all the work Doctor Reger, and you did." Izuku said as they approached Himiko's door.

"The work is not done yet but thank you, Midoriya. Now please go in."

Izuku swallowed his nerves and knocked before entering. There was a stabbing in his chest and a fluttering in his stomach as he locked eyes with Himiko's single cat-like eye as it looked at him, and unlike the last time, it wasn't full of blood lust and pain. She looked confused as Izuku closed the door and sat down in a chair a few feet from the bed.

The two sat in silence for a moment before Izuku gave a shaky smile, but before he could speak, Himiko asked. "Who are you?"

Whatever words Izuku was going to speak were turned to ash in his throat. "W-what?"

Himiko's face scrunched up, and she scratched her head. "Y-you look familiar... ugh, where do I know you?"

Izuku swallowed and quickly said. "Izuku Midoriya. I'm a friend of yours; we met a while ago in an alleyway. After I helped you get away from some punks, we got drinks at the convenience store. You pulled out a couple different wallets to pay for them."

Izuku watched a sense of understanding wash over Himiko as she looked at him again and spoke. "Izuku Midoriya..." her eye shimmered. "Izuku... I-zu-ku..." a tear traced its way down her cheek as she muttered. "Izu... I remember. You're Izu, sweet, handsome Izu. you get flustered when I flirt with you, and you're my hero."

Izuku grinned and chuckled as a faint blush pushed its way to his cheeks. "Yeah, that's me. It's nice to see you again, Himiko."

Himiko smiled. "It's nice to see you too. How long has it been?"

Izuku choked down a shudder and kept his smile up. "Too long if you ask me."

MIna and Toru watched their boyfriend, and one of their oldest friends chat. Several times Himiko looked like she was trying to remember something, but Izuku was quick to move the conversation along. They couldn't tell what they were saying, but Mina and Toru knew that as it went on, Himiko started teasing Izuku, who smiled and laughed before saying something that made the blonde pause with a surprised look on her face before blushing slightly.

After some time, Himiko seemed tired, and Izuku gave her a tight hug before leaving the room. Toru and Mina looked at each other when after a moment, Izuku didn't show up in the observation room.

The two young women left and immediately spotted Izuku sitting with his back against the opposite wall resting his face in his hands. He let out a shuddering breath as Toru and Mina sat on either side of him. They saw the glisten of tears in his eyes as he said. "S-she didn't recognize me at first. I-I barely held it together whenever she couldn't remember something."

His girlfriends wrapped their arms around him, and the trio sat in the hallway for several minutes before returning to the observation room to talk with Iva about when they would talk to Himiko again.

Notes:

I have a couple of ideas. one is a kinda Horimiya vibe of an Izuku who works part-time and takes care of his little sister. he gets the attention of Cami who you know is pretty gyaru and she starts hanging around him and helping him at home.

the other idea I had was an Izumi who is Burnin's younger sister and she's got the whole gyaru attitude and way of dressing but you know the more modern way where they're not super heavy with the makeup. She's got the same quirk as Burnin and while she seems like a typical gyaru girl she's actually pretty smart and observant and uses the preconceived notions about gyaru's as a kinda cover she also just likes being fashionable and stuff so it all works.

also which female MHA characters would you describe as tsundere or would be nice if they had tsundere traits?
