Kapitel 57: Chapter 58- Guess
"You fainted," Anna explained. "You were walking down the hallway when you suddenly collapsed. Do you know how worried I was? Not only that, Fredrick and Amy came over--"
" I know, I chased them out" Delilah cut off Anna lazily.
Anna was surprised" What? Really?" she handed a box of strawberry milk to Delilah after punching a hole in it with a straw.
" Really", Delilah smiled.
" Ah, that should be when I left to buy lunch"
" I think so"
" Delilah, do you know who brought you to the infirmary when you fainted?" Anna suddenly changed the topic.
" You didn't?" Delilah tilted her head to a side.
Anna shook her head, a strange smile curved up her face, "Guess"
" A classmate?"
" Yeah, Yeah, I know it is a classmate but guess who it is"
" The class rep?"
" No"
" A teacher?"
" Seriously? No"
" The school nurse?"
" Come on, Delilah"
" Who then?"
" Guess!"
Sigh, "Fredrick?"
" Barf! No"
" Amy"
" You can do better"
" Who?"
" Someone you never expected"
Delilah rubbed her temple, running out of ideas," Just tell me already" she whined.
Anna covered her mouth, giggling. Delilah rubbed her head, her eyes caught her school bag beside the bed," Can you help me with my bag?"
Anna delivered the bag to her, Delilah began to rummage through it; she soon brought out a little wrapped box and gave it to Anna," My dad asked me to give you"
Anna was stunned and perplexed as she received the box, she unwrapped it. Wide-eyed, Anna brought out the mobile phone from the box, she looked at Delilah, who shrugged.
Her eyes stinged; misted with tears," Your—Your dad said you should give this to me" she looked at the phone in her hands and tears flowed from her eyes as she laughed.
Hugging Delilah, she said," Thank you… thank you so much"
