The love we feel,

It hurts but heals,
It's something we never touch or never see but feel,
Disappoints,
Approaching that person with a hidden agenda,
We fall deep,
We hurt because we want more of what we are given,
Self-destruction because we aren't given what we had expected,
Cry over that someone,
With a broken heart and swollen eyes,
We wish them well regardless of how badly we were treated,
But still,
We pick ourselves up.
