Kapitel 42: Chunin exams First phase I
Which was a good thing. Especially they could help me escaping from tight situations.

The day of the chunin exams finally arrived. And unlike canon this time, there was no particular room mentioned in the form of the exams. So I doubted that this exam is going to be different from what happened in the canon.
But I didn't expect it to be soooooo different !
The first part of the exam was proctored by Ibiki Morino. It was a written exam, but it was not a test of knowledge as much as a test of information-gathering and willpower. The rule was simple. There were nine questions the examinees have to answer in the first part of the exam. They could cheat or whatever they want as long as they doesn't get caught for more than three times. For one wrong or unanswered question, they will lose one point. They will have 9 points at the beginning and they will need atleast one point to pass the exam. But if they got caught cheating for more than three times, then not only them but also there entire team will be disqualified.
The last question was a do or die question: if one didn't answer, one's entire team would fail the Chūnin Exams, but if one answered incorrectly, one would remain a genin forever.
In that question, Naruto showed that he was not a quitter when he exclaimed that he didn't care if he stayed a genin forever, and that, even if that came to pass, he would still become Hokage. The genin who chose to answer the question and stay, all passed the first part of the Chūnin Exams.
But this time the exam was completely different.

"Hey Sakura !" Ino greeted me while team 10 entered the school training field.
"Ino ?" I greeted Ino. I was surprised to see Ino's outfit.
She was wearing a full body mesh stocks with a sleevless blouse that showed her underboobs and panties that covered practically nothing. It was extremely provocative.
I had learnt my lessons in wave mission. So I was wearing a full body tight suit with reinforcement barrier inscribed in it. It was also equipped with storage seals to store all of my equipments, weapons, supplies and my sword. It was a good thing that I learnt fuinjutsu. It is super convenient in situations like these. The suit was black in colour and was hugging my body tightly. Even it was extremely tight, it was stretchable and comfortable to move.

It was lightly transparent to still give me a provocative look. Especially in bright sunlight. But still it was more modest than what ino was wearing.
From the right, team eight came towards us along with Naruto. Obviously Hinata was practically clinging to him.
Sasuke was already present by the time I came. So I sighed in relief that all of my teammates reached in time.
"Hey ! What's up with the new outfit ?"
Ino didn't go for Sasuke directly.
"Nothing much... just realised that it is dangerous to expose my skin in a real mission. So this is my solution." I replied !
"Whatever....
Sasuke kun !" Ino jumped towards Sasuke who side stepped easily and dodged her attempt to hug him.
"Hey ! Naruto !..." Team 9 approached from left.
We were in an open space and everyone was discussing something amongst themselves. So our little gathering didn't gather that much attaintion from the others.
Unlike what I expected Kabuto didn't approach us till the very last moment. I noticed him at one corner. But I wasn't enthusiastic about talking with him either. Even if I have already shown exceptional talent in medical ninjutsu, hopefully Orochimaru wouldn't take interest in me as long as I don't impress him.
I knew the difference in power. So my best option would be to flee with my team. But I am not expecting it to be easy. But in case Sasuke got his hiecky, my first priority would be to return to the tower as fast as possible.
While I was pondering about my limited option in the second phase of the exam, completely forgetting that the second phase might be entirely different from what happened in the canon, Morino Ibiki appeared in the middle of the playground using body flicker jutsu.
"Alright you maggots !
Quit chattering among yourself ! Because I am about to announce the first round of the chunin exam." Ibiki told loudly.
Immediately everyone quited down and waited for Ibiki to speak.
"Listen carefully because I am not going to repeat myself !
There are 74 teams participating in this years chunin exams.
And the first round of the exam will commence in two parts. The participants who will clear the first part of the exam will be allowed to the second part of the exam.
In first part, there are 50 balls with 'shinobi' written in kanji, hidden in the academy perimeter. You will have one our to get one ball for your team.
Your team cannot have more than one ball. By the end of 1 hour if your team doesn't have any ball, then you will fail.
In this exam you have to follow three rules.
Rule no 1. You cannot go outside the academy perimeter. That means you have to search inside the academy. You can search inside the building or in the playground, in the podium or anywhere you want inside the building. But even if by chance you put your step out of the academy perimeter, then your team will be disqualified.
Rule no 2. You cannot damage the school property in any way. There will be proctors everywhere. So don't even think about hiding your mistake. If you try then I don't have to tell you what will happen. You along with your entire team will be disqualified.
Rule no 3. While fighting is allowed, you are not allowed to kill or maim anyone. If you do then you along with your entire team will be disqualified. Obviously we will be keeping close eye on you all. Even an attempt to kill to anyone will result in your disqualification along with your entire team.
Now ! Get ready !
