Kapitel 40: Summoning contract
But in between our fight I suddenly realised something. The owl was actually cornering me to a certain place. I was too busy dodging his attacks that I notice too late. The very next moment when the fog cleared suddenly I was surrounded by gigantic owls in all directions.
"Fuck !"

Summoning contract
My mind was going hundred miles per hour. I was completely surrounded by many gigantic owls. There were at least 8 of them surrounding me close by. I could see more glowing eyes in the distance but was not sure about their size. But one thing that I am confirmed about, is that if I do not do anything to escape right now then I am fucked.
My sword was with me. Worst case scenario I have to kill a few and push my way through.
But just as I reached the hilt of my sword, a booming laughter was heard throughout the entire forest.
"Sutsutsutsut !"
It was like and owl is trying to laugh through it's beak.
"Are you satisfied son ?"
The owl that was chasing her a moments ago landed a few feet away from her and bowed his head.
"Yes, great father. I am quite satisfied with her strength." The owl answered.
I was completely oblivious what was going on.
"Hey hey ! When I tried to talk to you earlier, you didn't even listen to me and attacked like a savage. And now you are suddenly capable of speaking ?" I shouted at the owl.
He turned back his head completely behind to look at me.
"You are heading towards to us ? Were you not ? And only strong people are allowed to this place. You told me that you are interested in signing our contract earlier and it is clear from your words that you wanted our help. But we do not help weakling. That's why I wanted to test if you are strong enough. And great father always says that actions speak louder than words. So I attacked you like that to see you in action.
And I have to say that I am quite satisfied with your strength." He answered pridefully
I deadpanned at the owl.
"So what's now ? Will you allow me to sign your contract ?"
"Not yet. There is another test that you must complete if you wish to sign our contract." The previous voice boomed again.
A huge gust of wind cleared the fog. The largest owl I have ever seen landed in front of me.
"But before that test, you deserve praise because in your entire exchange with my son you only tried to defend yourself instead of attacking him with intent to kill. So I promise you even if you fail the test our owl clan will grant your one request." The gigantic owl declared.
"Well tell me what is this test ?"
I answered suspiciously.
"You have to learn a certain Jutsu before dawn." The owl declared. "And if you managed to learn it, then I will ask you your name and give you mine and allow you to sign our summoning contract.
Of course we will help you."
'Learning a jutsu ? Well maybe I don't have a high affinity for ninjutsu, neither do I have a ton of Chakra like Naruto, but there is no harm in trying.
And besides, I will be getting a very powerful summon for myself. Even if if I can't use them in fighting I can at least use them to escape from strong enemies.'
The deal wasn't bad. Or at least that's what I thought.

Sakura was regretting her decision. The jutsu was a gliding jutsu, that allows the user to glide and slow down their fall from heights.
The concept was really easy. By using leaf, as the small unit, you have to create gliding wings for yourself to slow yourself down.
But, Sakura realised that the reality was very hard from the concept. Even with her exceptional Chakra control talent she was enable to learn it after multiple tries. Creating wings from leaf was very easy. But maintaining that wing is very hard. Especially when and gravity are double teaming against her. Not to mention she has to fall from the top of a flying owl to actually try the Jutsu. But fortunately due to her exceptional Chakra control and knowledge of medical ninjutsu, she managed to survive those falls when the owl helping her, was unable to catch her in time.
But thankfully before sunrise she managed to learn the jutsu to an acceptable degree.
Although her clothes didn't survive her grueling training.
Those clothes were reinforced with fuinjutsu. That was the sole reason, they took most of the damage instead of her body, every time she fell off.
But there was a limit, to which extent they could take damage. So now she was wearing what left of her top, which fortunately were hiding a little of her shame. But the same cannot be told about her bottom which was completely gone including the panty. But again she was thankful that they gave her a make shift skirt made of, owl feathers.
Finally after signing their contract she decided to go back to the leaf. The owl, that attacked her earlier, Jogo, the son of the chief owl decided to become her personal summon. He was the one who took her back to the hidden leaf.
But that's not the most shocking thing. Sakura was very surprise when she found that she was in a entirely different continent. And even while flying in his highest speed it took Jogo two days to enter the land of fire.

AN: The theory exams of my fourth semester, are finally going to start from July 20th and will continue till August 1st. During this time, I will not post any chapters here. But like before I am not going to stop posting the chapters in my p@treon AnimefanfictionInd. There will be at least one chapter per day there. Obviously if possible, I will try to write more chapters.
