Kapitel 356: Hostages!

"Boom!!!"

With a tremendous force, Tiger's massive body was slammed towards the Bubble Cable Car Port, smashing a meticulously crafted, imposing statue into rubble.

The person who had sent Tiger flying withdrew his fist, ignoring the downed Tiger as he scanned the crowd, assessing the strength of the escaping slaves.

"That guy is CP0! The Celestial Dragons' lapdog!"

Seeing the sudden appearance of the enemy, the slaves were thrown into panic. Having lived in Mariejois for a long time, they naturally understood the significance of CP0's presence.

"All the escaped slaves should be here. After all, besides the Bubble Cable Car, they have no other means to leave Mariejois."

A figure suddenly materialized from the mist, taking human form beside his half-werewolf companion. The two of them then looked towards the Bubble Cable Car Port.

A Bubble Cable Car was slowly ascending and docking there.

Soon, a man and a woman, both Celestial Dragons, disembarked under the protection of their guards.

"Who did this? Who allowed so many filthy slaves to appear here? Is there no law and order?"

The two Celestial Dragons, who had returned from the Red Port to seek refuge in the Holy Land, glared with twisted faces full of disgust at the dishevelled, ragged slaves before them. They had already decided that whoever was responsible for this and those foolish fish who attacked the Red Port would all be chopped up and fed to the fish!

"Saint George Climax, Lady Griselda, it's very dangerous here right now. Please head to the shelter immediately!"

The bodyguards, dressed in suits, could see the strange situation unfolding and pleaded with the two Celestial Dragons to cooperate and quickly leave the danger zone.

As long as the safety of these two Celestial Dragons was ensured, any turmoil that occurred would not concern them.

However—

Perhaps due to their long-standing arrogance and the sense of invincibility instilled by being in Mariejois, these two Celestial Dragons, George Climax and Lady Griselda, paid no heed to their bodyguards' pleas. Instead, they continued to shout about punishing the slaves who dared to walk freely in Mariejois.

Seeing these two completely unaware of the situation, along with the increasingly hostile looks from the slaves and the growing fire engulfing half of Mariejois, the bodyguards were anxious and continued to plead with kind words, having no other choice.

After all, if they forcibly removed the Celestial Dragons, they would surely face their wrath, despite their actions being for their safety.

Celestial Dragons were synonymous with unreasonable behavior.

As the two continued their tirade, the ground suddenly erupted beneath them. Two large hands emerged, grabbing George Climax and Lady Griselda.

Faced with this sudden attack, George Climax fainted instantly, while Lady Griselda screamed piercingly at the sight of Morley's grotesque face.

Seeing Morley holding the screaming Lady Griselda and the unconscious George Climax, the faces of the two CP0 agents changed.

If the mission's difficulty had been three stars before, it had now skyrocketed to nine stars.

They now had hostages—Celestial Dragon hostages, no less.

"Damn it."

"We underestimated them. We didn't expect them to have someone on the inside."

The two CP0 elites glared at Morley, holding the Celestial Dragon hostages, not daring to make a move. They couldn't risk it—these people had dared to invade Mariejois and cause such a commotion. Killing two Celestial Dragons might not be beyond them.

"Morley, thank goodness you made it in time."

Tiger, clutching his injured right side, spoke to Morley.

Morley looked at Tiger with concern, "Tiger, you're hurt."

"It's nothing serious. We need to leave quickly. The Navy's reinforcements will be here soon."

As the two spoke, the bodyguards, who were responsible for the Celestial Dragons' safety, pointed their guns at them, shouting, "How dare you lay hands on the great Celestial Dragons! Surrender immediately or..."

"Snap."

Before he could finish, Morley clenched his fist, producing a crisp sound that clearly came from the Celestial Dragons' bodies.

"Ahhh!!!"

The pain from broken bones woke George Climax from his faint, experiencing such severe pain for the first time in his life. He screamed in agony.

Seeing George Climax's suffering and Morley's ruthless methods, Lady Griselda, who had been screaming, fainted.

The sight of the suffering Celestial Dragons stunned the slaves. They had never seen Celestial Dragons like this—it was completely unfamiliar.

These self-proclaimed descendants of the creators...

They could feel pain, scream in agony, and were just as fragile.

Without their identity as descendants of the creators, they were no different from pigs wallowing in the mud.

They bled too, and they could die.

At that moment, a different light appeared in some slaves' eyes.

Meanwhile, the elite marines from Marineford were rushing to the port on the Grand Line side of the Red Line.

When news of the attack on the Holy Land reached them, they moved as quickly as possible.

Though they hadn't reached Mariejois, they already had information about the situation there.

Confirmed information indicated that this was not a solo attack but an organized one. Top-tier combatants like Thunder God Nicholas and Revolutionary Army leader Dragon were involved.

Currently, these two were fighting against CP agents, Holy Land guards, and the forces of the Celestial Dragons in front of Pangaea Castle.

Additionally, the G1 branch near the New World had been attacked by the Charlotte family, led by the previously presumed dead Charlotte Linlin. They launched a devastating attack on G1.

It's still unclear what kind of cooperation the Charlotte family has with the attackers like Nicholas.

Furthermore, the Sea God Army of the former World Government member Fish-Man Island was also involved in the attack, nearly taking over the Red Port on the New World side.

Mariejois itself had become a sea of fire with a massive slave revolt.

Given the current situation, the Marines knew they were facing a very challenging task.

"Can't we go any faster?"

A vice admiral in the bubble cable car frowned at its slow ascent.

Any matter involving the Celestial Dragons was a bad one, and who knew if they'd be held accountable for being late.

The thought of the Celestial Dragons and the World Government's disgusting behavior made the vice admiral uneasy.

"Calm down, Vice Admiral Gion. We still have time," said Vice Admiral Tsuru, sipping tea calmly.

Hearing Tsuru's words, Vice Admiral Gion calmed down, then looked oddly at Fujitora, who was also sipping tea beside Tsuru.

After all, if Fujitora wanted to speed up the cable car, it would be easy, but seeing the two leisurely enjoying tea, she said nothing more.

You can never guess what the big shots are thinking.
