"So, what are we going to do now?" Nami asked while pointing at her Log Pose.
"Move forward! We will soon find a gate." Zack answered
As they made their way toward Heaven's Gate, they saw a man riding on a strange thing rushing toward them.
He was holding a cannon in his hand, trying to shoot at any moment.
"You should simply stay down."

Zack clenched his fist, armament haki covering his arm. He punched out and a massive shockwave burst out of his attack.

"I don't know." Zack shrugged his shoulders and pointed in another direction.

Skypiea was located on a gigantic mass of fossilized clouds known as an Imperial Cumulus.
The cloud wandered around the skies near Jaya and happened to be so dense that it managed to blot out sunlight almost completely, instantly darkening the portion of the Blue Sea where it floated by and giving the impression that nightfall had suddenly arrived.
The people who resided here had small wings on their backs, though they were mostly for decoration.
The daily life of sky people revolved around the use of Dials, which normally were not available in the Blue Sea.
As opposed to the "berry" of the rest of the world, they used "Igrams" as currency.
The first area reached was Angel Island for those entering through the Heaven's Gate.
Nami reminded: "Someone is coming."
At this time, an old man wearing silver armor and a white beard flew quickly on a bird.
The old man landed near the gate and said gently, "I have no hostility towards you. Let me introduce myself. I am Ganfall."

While admiring the island, the straw hats could not help but take a deep breath.
"The air here is incredibly clear," he muttered, sensing the warmth around him, "the trees and greenery have thrived from minimal human contact and the thinness of the atmosphere."
Not only did they thrive, but the trees also grew to colossal heights, dominating the view.
Gan Fall lightly smiled at the comments and felt some relief toward the peaceful guests.
"We need to ascend further up, let's take a shortcut…"
The angel-man took out a whistle and blew into it.

Zack silently nodded. Blue Sea's Jaya had the shape of a jaw while the Upper Yard was that of a skull missing its jaw; a puzzle-piece fit for a complete skull.
Though there was another missing link, one of the skull's eyes was void.
"But it's missing one piece," Robin muttered with a tinge of curiosity.

[Twenty Minutes Later]
They had made it to an Island Cloud that hovered over the Upper Yard, Giant Jack, the beanstalk, going through its core.
"This is God's Shrine, my previous area of residence and Enel's current residence" Gan Fall said as he showed the foreigners the building before them.
It was not large, just a single-story building with an open section that had a grand seating area, presumably for the reining God.
More of the Divine Squad were visible as they stood nearby, their spears in hand. Quite a few of them looked battered and bruised, their faces tired through didn't notice them.
The crew soon returned to their ship took their seats with Gan Fall in their cabin and Robin could not help but ask, "You mentioned a rare peaceful time, what did you mean by that?"
Gan Fall heaved a sigh and explained, "Skypiea has existed for a long, long time, ruled by the Skypieans."
"Over 400 years ago, however, a new land suddenly arrived here, the Upper Yard. It was a magical place with endless vearth... but it was visibly in ruins after some kind of war."
He turned toward the guests, "I'm sure you know what the God of Skypiea at that time wanted to do with this newly-arrived Upper Yard."
Ussop beamed a smirk, his pirate instincts activating, "Lay their claim over it, of course."
Gan Fall slowly nodded with some fatigue and regret.
"However, the newly arrived island wasn't empty, it was the home to a small tribe called The Shandia, led by a fierce warrior named Kalgara. At the sight of their home being claimed by others, a war began to reclaim it."
With a heavy voice filled with remorse, he finished, "And that very war continues to this day, lasting nearly 400 years!"
"..."
Zack narrowed his eyes at the words, feeling the man's helplessness.
"The Skypieans and the Shandians were related, no? Both marked with wings on their backs," he asked.
Gan Fall lightly hummed, "From the text passed from previous Gods, there were three races that once lived in a single place: the Skypieans, the Shandia, and the Birkans mainly through their were said to 5 races to exact; all winged people."
Luffy was quite intrigued by the information and echoed the question in his mind, "The same place?"
A reply came from Zack before Gan Fall could answer.
"The Moon."
The previous God of Skypiea paused in his seat, looking at Zack with shock.
Gan Fall regained his composure, "Yes… indeed—they hailed from the Moon."
Luffy's eyes shined bright at aspect of adventure to the moon, looking up to the sky, only to meet the cabins's ceiling.
'Skypiea arc must have been a lot more important than I imagined, a pity that I died before it was truly expanded upon in final war saga' Zack sighed to himself.
Gan Fall then cleared his throat, "Since taking my position as God of Skypiea, I have only a single goal: to end the war between the Shandia and Skypieans but I lost to Enel!"
Alas, he felt embarrassed.
The man dryly laughed, "Enough about me, I don't want to bore you anymore, you are welcome to explore as you wish."
"My people may be wary of outsiders but we are kind folk."

Soon they crossed the Heaven Gate and after confirming their sightseeing to the Sky Island, they got a free travel to the Angel Beach of the Sky Island.
"So, Zack, do you have any plans for this place? You said that Luffy needs to fight someone who happens to be Enel, right?"
Nami turned to Zack and asked.
"Indeed! We will be divided into three teams. The first team would be Luffy and Usopp. The second team will be Sanji, Zoro, and Chopper. The third team will be Nami, Robin, Vivi, and I."
"Wait, why did you get to be with three ladies?" Sanji immediately interrupted him and shouted.
"That's because you need battles to improve your strength. Don't forget you haven't comprehended armament Haki yet." Zack looked at him and continued to explain.
"Here, you have a better chance of comprehending Observation Haki and if you try better, you might be able to use Armament Haki as well. Although Chopper is a doctor, he has great strength so if he can awaken armament Haki, it would be great."
"Three of you have only one task, block every single enemy except for Enel. Usopp and Luffy will be tasked to fight Enel."
"Wait, wait, why am I fighting with Luffy?" Usopp immediately raised his head in fear and asked.
"That's because you have already awakened Observation Haki. If you train your Observation Haki with Luffy, you might be able to awaken Future Sight or even Long Distance Observation Haki."

"But, can't you train with Enel to improve your Observation Haki as well?" Sanji asked.

"Yeah Zack, why don't we fight Enel together?" Luffy also asked in confusion.
"Remember what I said before, he has eating Rumble Rumble Fruit and can turn into Lightning and control it. To reach Advance Observation Haki, you must push yourself to the absolute limit."
"But, there is one thing that you are missing. Enel doesn't have Advance Observation Haki but it is still stronger than ours. So, even if we try to predict his attacks, it is still lightning-fast attacks that we wouldn't be able to dodge that easily."
"But, Luffy is different. He doesn't need to dodge those attacks because of fear but rather he needs to dodge those attacks to improve his Observation Haki."
"If we try to fight Enel with Armament Haki, we would be able to hurt him but he would still be faster. So, in the battle, we need to preserve our Haki as much as possible."
"Otherwise with his speed, power, and Observation Haki, people like us won't last long but Luffy is different."
At this moment, Sanji interjected.
"Luffy is made out of rubber so lightning-based attacks won't work. But just to improve his Observation Haki, he would constantly train his Observation Haki."
"In long battles, we often overuse our Haki. But if Luffy doesn't need Armament Haki to protect himself from Enel's attacks, his Haki can last much longer which would give him enough time to improve his Observation Haki."

Others also followed him quickly and they started playing on the beach until they heard the sound coming from afar.
They saw an angel playing an instrument. After they found her, they started chatting and through her, Straw Hats learned a lot more about Sky Islands.
Seeing Luffy hugging a blue, coconut-like fruit, Conis asked.
"Would you like a drink?"
Luffy nodded, "Well, shaking can tell that it's full of juice, but it's too hard."
Conis took it, made a slit in the upper center with a knife, took out the habit and inserted it in, and handed it to Luffy.
"Here, so you can drink."
Luffy couldn't wait, took a big sip, and his eyes lit up: "It's delicious, it's really sweet, much better than the coconut below."

Conis and her father immediately recognized them as they were White Berets who were the law enforcers of Sky Island.
"Mr. Zack, did you do something wrong?" Conis asked in a frightened tone.
"Oh! Don't worry about them. Guys, we have already finished doing everything. Now, it's time to spread out."
"First Team will go and fight Enel. The second Team will help them go there while Third Team will be responsible for finding gold and a golden bell. Luffy, if you want to ring that bell, try to achieve Future Sight as soon as possible."
Saying so, they walked out of the house leaving the frightened Conis and her father inside the house.
"Wait, what about Nami?" Vivi asked.
"The third Team will wait for her to complete her mapping of Skypedia. During that time, Vivi and Robin will be responsible for dealing with these guards."
Zack replied as he pointed at the people crawling toward them.
