There was something about Zefe that made Alastor alert.
'She did not fear me.'
Alastor laid back on the bed while staring out the window. It was nighttime now, the moon was clear in the sky.
While observing the sky, Alastor was thinking about his current situation. How long was he here? And how long was this in the real world?
'If I wanted to think about it, there are many complications in this world. It is not my style to go mindlessly with any plan, though.'
As much as the idea of not planning anything and powering through it all seemed entertaining, Alastor knew that doing such a thing was only stupid.
There was no point in trying to figure those out as well.
'I can only assume some things. I will never be able to tell for sure.'
The Moon Enchanter was helpful, true, but it would not be like that for a long time. This was a test. Something he needed to finish on his own.
