In the world of Silvoria, a cultivator has to absorb the Life Energy from Nature and use it to slowly integrate it into his blood through his Life Seed.

Along the process, the colour of the Life Seed slowly changes for each major realm breakthrough; however, it won't break through to the next major realm so easily and needs one more thing other than the Life Energy for its breakthrough.

And it was none other than a blessing from the Celestial World Tree. As for how to get the blessing from the Celestial World Tree, it was by completing a mission issued by the Celestial World Tree.

Since Life Seeds are closely connected to the Celestial World Tree, it was not shocking for the Life Seeds to need the blessings from the Celestial World Tree for their cultivator's breakthrough.

In short, to make a major breakthrough, a cultivator had to enter the Celestial World Tree and complete a mission given by the Celestial World Tree.

Only after that, a cultivator could receive a blessing from the Celestial World Tree and then using the Life Energy in his Life Space, a cultivator could break through to the next realm.

As for the missions, it was completely random…and if you're lucky, you might get an easy mission; however, if you are unlucky, then you will forever be stuck in your cultivation realm.

That's also one of the reasons why all the cultivators in the world pray to the Celestial World Tree in the hopes of getting an easy mission.

Generally, it was only required for major breakthroughs like from level 9 Life Blood Soldier Realm to level 1 Life Blood Sergeant Realm.

However, the problem was, that there was no Celestial World Tree in the Trial Realm of Life and Death and Aeon was not sure whether he could enter the Celestial World Tree from here or not.

Aeon silently thought in his head as he decided to try his luck, "Grimoire, can I enter the…"

Before Aeon could finish his words, the Grimoire of Life and Death straightaway said it was not possible.

'Then, am I going to be stuck at Level 5 Life Blood Soldier Realm until I complete the trial?'

Aeon felt a little disappointed when this came to his mind.

According to Aeon's plan, he could easily break through to level 9 Life Blood Soldier Realm.

With the help of the equipment he had already received and the equipment he would be receiving in the next few days, Aeon was confident in completing the trial in less than a year even with his level of carefulness.

But, now, his cultivation would be stuck at level 5 Life Blood Soldier Realm which means, he might not be able to kill the soldier realm monsters other than Goblin Soldiers and Forest Gremlins.

The Grimoire of Life and Death reminded Aeon that it was not its fault for his Life Seed being special and at the same time, it also reminded him that if not for that same Life Seed, Aeon would have not gotten his hands on the cave.

'I am not complaining about it.'

Aeon shook his head as he explained, 'I am just a little disappointed that my plan failed before it even began properly.'
