'Level 2 Life Blood Soldier'

Aeon could not help but clench his fist in excitement when he muttered his cultivation.

In this world, the initial stages of cultivation were simple as the cultivators were only required to fill their Life Space and before trying to expand it.

So, breaking through to the next level on the same day the cultivator started his cultivation was not a rare achievement.

However, for Aeon, it was still a rare achievement.

After losing his S-grade Life Seed, Aeon thought he would have a hard time cultivating.

However, thanks to the Grimoire of Life and Death and his new Life Seed, things became much easier for Aeon compared to having an S-grade Life Seed.

'I will cultivate here while observing the cave.'

Nevertheless, Aeon didn't let his little achievement get to his head and decided to cultivate.

As for the cave, Aeon was waiting for an opportunity to occupy the entire cave for himself.

Even though the Goblin was injured, Aeon guessed that it was a Goblin Sergeant just like the Hornless Orc he had seen earlier and was not confident in killing it.

Moreover, he was worried that there might be other Goblins inside the cave and thus, Aeon was waiting for an opportunity.

'As long as I remain patient and cultivate a bit, with the help of my ability [Crystal Creation], I can break through to level 3 in a couple of days.'

With that thought in mind, Aeon slowly started his cultivation; however, he didn't close his eyes and observed his surroundings along with the cave behind the waterfall.

Also, from time to time, he would look into the canyon where many monsters come to drink the water below.

'While it was not a good thing to open my eyes during the cultivation, I can't afford to close and fully focus on my cultivation.'

Because of that, Aeon's already low cultivation speed became pitiful as he absorbed half of the Life Energy compared to before.

'With my current cultivation speed, I can absorb 10 units of Life Energy per hour; however, since I am cultivating with my eyes open, it becomes 5 units per hour.'

Aeon could only smile bitterly as he motivated himself, 'Nevertheless, thanks to the blessing effect from the Grimoire of Life and Death, I am still able to absorb 10 units per hour.'

With 10 units of Life Energy per hour, Aeon continued his cultivation.

Time continued to pass and in a flash two hours passed by as Aeon's Life Space collected 20 units of Life Energy.

During the two hours, Aeon saw many monsters in the canyon below that came to drink water and even fought.

Above the canyon, there was a group of Forest Gremlins searching for their toy and during the entire time, Aeon barely took a breath as he was worried that he would become their toy.

Anyway, he heaved a sigh of relief as they left and resumed his cultivation while keeping an eye on the cave with the other eye on his surroundings.

'Rumble'

Suddenly, Aeon heard a low rumbling sound and noticed that the entrance to the cave behind the waterfall finally opened a little.

'Swoosh'

Next, Aeon saw three small goblins come out of the cave and climb out of the canyon before rushing into the forest in a hurry.

'As I expected, there were more goblins inside the cave.'

Seeing that Aeon praised himself for making the right decision and at the same time, he thought, 'Should I go after them and find an opportunity to kill them and if possible, try to get information about the goblins inside the cave.'

With a look, Aeon could tell that those goblins were just rank 1 Goblin Soldiers and with his strength, he could kill them one by one.

'No…I should wait and increase my cultivation to level 3 Soldier Realm.'

Since he could make another breakthrough in a day or two, Aeon felt there was no need to take such a risk.

Moreover, Aeon didn't know what type of skills those Goblins had and if one of them had an attack-type skill, it would lead to Aeon's death.

'I should have not used the [Assessment Page] earlier.'

Aeon only thought about it for a moment; however, he did not regret his decision as he believed that he did the best in his previous situation.

Anyway, Aeon knew that he just needed to wait for a day and he could not only use the [Assessment Page] but also his ability to create the Life Crystals.

So, all he needed to do was wait patiently.

Soon, Aeon resumed his cultivation as his Life Seed slowly absorbed Life Energy and filled his Life Space.

'Swoosh'

After three hours, the three Goblin Soldiers returned with some leaves, fruits and small animals like rabbits and squirrels.

'So, they went out for food?'

Seeing them return, Aeon understood why the Goblins went out of the cave and started devising a plan with all the information he had collected so far.

'Grumble'

Maybe it was because he saw fruits, his stomach grumbled in hunger.

Even though Life Blood Cultivators could survive on Life Energy without eating food, it takes time to adjust to that living.

For a youngster like Aeon, who used to eat three meals per day, it would be hard to suddenly shift their food habits.

'Since it is turning darker, I can only endure my hunger and wait until the two suns rise again.'

Aeon knew searching for food in the night was only seeking death. Thus, he decided to endure the hunger until tomorrow.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, the entire night passed by as Aeon didn't dare to close his eyes and was always on guard.

'The nighttime in this place is much scarier than the daytime. I need to take over that cave as soon as possible.'

In the night, Aeon heard all kinds of monster roars from all directions.

Aeon was already shocked to see many battles in the canyon in the daytime and the nighttime, there were many fights between the monsters.

There were even rank 4 Monsters fighting one another, which scared the shit out of Aeon.

'Anyway, the good thing that happened to me was that the Life Energy in my Life Space increased to 160 units.'

It's been more than 16 hours since Aeon settled in the bush and it was finally time for him to use his ability.

'Let's not waste any time and create the Life Crystals.'

Aeon believed that the three Goblins would soon come out of the cave in search of food.

Thus, Aeon wanted to be prepared before that.

With that thought in mind, Aeon summoned his Life Seed and activated his ability [Crystal Creation] with a simple thought.

'Swoosh'

Soon, three Special Low-level Life Crystals appeared in Aeon's hands and without hesitation, Aeon fed a Life Crystal to the Grimoire of Life and Death.

+40 units of Life Energy.

With a thought, Aeon broke through to the next level and successfully reached level 3 Life Blood Soldier Realm.

'It's been only 24 hours since I started cultivating and I already reached level 3 Soldier Realm.'

Compared to yesterday, Aeon became a little stronger today as he muttered with a confident smile, 'Today, I am going to kill those little Goblin Soldiers.'

Once he broke through, Aeon was ready to execute the plan he had prepared for the entire night.

Soon, there was a low rumbling sound as three Goblins rushed out of the cave and in no time, they climbed into the canyon.

'Assessment Page, do your magic and give me the information on all three Goblins.'

Aeon, who was waiting for the Goblin Soldiers used the [Assessment Page] to get the information and soon, Aeon learned about them as the confident smile on his face grew even wider.

'Let's begin my First Hunt in the Trial Realm of Life and Death.'
