Kapitel 12: 12. Respect
Venelana was lying on a reclining chair, relaxing while she watched her son play happily in the water with Kuroka.
Tiamat was also lying lazily in a chair next to her while Grayfia and Seri were also enjoying the scenery and calm.
" Nee-sama, we are moving to Kuoh then? " Seri asked Venelana who was lying beside her.
" Yes my dear ~, I do own some properties there and it's an ok place to live. And I do wish for Vivian to grow up happy because his future may as well be filled with all kinds of problems " Venelana ended her words in a tired tone. With his lineage, her child might be targeted by some unsavoury individuals.
" But Nee-sama, what if Vivi-sama's power goes out of control " Seri asked a little worriedly as it was a genuine issue, Vivian was still a child and if his power happened to go out of control it would surely put normal people in mortal danger.
From Venelana's words, Seri was sure that she was planning on letting Vivian mingle with children his age and maybe even send him to school, but this was a genuine problem as Vivian was a child with Ultimate class strength.
What if he accidentally killed someone who tried to bully him, that was a horrifying thought.
"This.." Venelana was also a bit stumped, she was so excited yesterday that she didn't think properly, but she can't be blamed as both she and Grayfia were mentally taxed after yesterday's ordeal and they really did forget this 'small' detail.
" I think I can do something about that " A calm voice interjected into their conversation as all three women turned their gazes towards the blue-haired woman lying lazily.
Noticing the confusion in their gazes Tiamat continued in a leisurely tone.
" I can use Draconic runes to suppress or downright seal his strength, and since he is weaker than me and won't actively put any resistance it won't be a hassle to use that seal on him " Hearing Tiamat's words Venalana was surprised and glad at the same time.
As for jealousy? There wasn't any since they both were doing their own for their beloved child.
She and Tiamat may not see eye to eye, but that is due to their character. Both women were extremely prideful and wouldn't bow their head down to others.
But did that mean she hated the woman? Hell no! It would be more apt to say that Venelana respected the dragoness as she earned her respect during their spar.
And Venelana felt Tiamat had a ton of potential in her, which was a given as she was fricking dragon. And everyone knows Dragons are busted creatures. If she trained as much as her Venelana was sure she could beat her much more easily.
But it was a shame that she was so lazy, but maybe that could be changed as she now had a new motivation to train, to protect their child. Surely Tiamat should understand what kind of being Vivian would become, and with both of their backing, not many would try anything.
But still, it's better to become stronger to protect those whom you hold dear. And maybe she can pull the lazy dragon to join her in training as Venelana felt a slight improvement while fighting against the woman.
But does that mean she will stop competing to become the best mother, heh~ dream on.
She didn't need to compete as she was already the best~

Tiamat was gazing at Venelana who was feeding Vivian her blood as he was suckling on her breasts while she stroked his hair tenderly with a warm smile.
Tiamat was a little peeved as Venelana was the first to feed their child, she also wanted to do it but she didn't know about it.
She was a little annoyed that she didn't know enough about her child, and if she knew he had vampire genes then she would have tried feeding him her blood.
Tiamat was sure that she would be the one to nurse her child next time, and Venelana did agree to take turns and both of them knew the importance of this intimate act as it would help strengthen their bond with their child.
Which both mothers were dead set on doing. And feeding on their blood would benefit Vivian a lot, especially Tiamat's since she was a dragon and her blood was very precious.
Honestly, it was baffling that her child had so many genes in him, and it was more surprising that they all merged together seamlessly.
It was a miracle that he survived those damning experiments and she was extremely grateful about it.
But on second thought who was she kidding, of course, her baby would survive because he was her son...

Currently, the group where in a clothing store picking out clothes for Vivian, as yesterday they were in a rush and just picked up a few.
But today the women decided to take their time shopping, because no matter the race all women like shopping.
All the women present were excited as they made Vivian try our different clothes while each woman went and selected what they liked and showed it to him in hopes of him liking it.
Kuroka made a very weird decision of bringing over a princess dress and all the women present except for Tiamat gazed at Vivian with shining eyes.
But one glare from Tiamat made them back down, but Kuroka can't be blamed tho as even if they dressed Vivian like a girl he would be the cutest little girl ever.
Especially with his beautiful long hair that reached past his back...
