Kapitel 206: Future plans (2)

"Scarlet? Have I broken you? Was it too soon to tell you that I love you?" Ian asked as she was just staring at him. "Or is it about marriage? The child? We do not need to ever get married if it is not what you want. I didn't mean for us to get married now either."

Ian recalled jokingly telling her that he could help her have a child so it shouldn't come as a surprise to now hear him speak of making a baby again. As for marriage, he wasn't in a rush to do it but he had to show that he was taking their relationship seriously.

"Are you blushing?" Ian asked, noticing a redness to her cheeks just before she turned to look away from him. "Honestly, Scarlet. You should save this side of you for when your grandparents are not here because I can't take you to your room."

"Don't say nonsense and don't fill my grandmother with hope," Scarlet said.
