Kapitel 219: You Look Delicious

"Good boy. Now hurry up and finish your food. Okay?" Grace said, ruffling Charles's hair and even caressed his cheeks affectionately.

Seeing how Grace was being all protective like mother hen and giving Charles all the attention, Jace regretted his actions.  

"Daddy was only joking with you, Charles," he suddenly said when Charles resumed eating.

However, Charles didn't even spare him a glance and only gave him a monosyllabic response "Humph!" 

Jace chuckled slightly as he also resumed eating and couldn't help but find his actions cute. 

The sun was shining, the food was delicious, and for the first time in a long while, he felt a genuine sense of happiness. 

As Charles finished his breakfast, he suddenly felt like going to the restroom.

Grace noticed his unease and asked what was wrong.

"Pee," he answered, looking down at his trousers.

"Alright, let's go," Grace said, dropping her cutlery but Jace's voice stopped her.
