Lisa froze and pulled back slightly, her eyes wide with shock and hurt. "Grace?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rufus felt like cutting off his tongue as he realized his flip just now. 'Damn! What have I done?' He cursed as he waited for the inevitable.

"What did you just call me, Rufus?" Lisa's cold voice sounded beside him.

"I-I'm sorry, Lisa, it was just a slip of the tongue," Rufus scrambled to explain but Lisa's expression hardened, her eyes narrowing with suspicion.

"A slip of the tongue? Really, Rufus? You're making love to me, and you accidentally mention someone else's name? That's not just a slip of the tongue, Rufus. It is something that originated from deep within your heart. You've always wanted to make love to her and you see me as her substitute, right?" Lisa revealed, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
