Kapitel 117: I Made A Promise

In the eerie stillness of the abyss, where darkness threatened to swallow me whole, I found myself teetering on the brink of despair. I was falling endlessly with no end in sight, my consciousness slowly fading. I awaited death quietly, but a strange sensation washed over me—a presence, familiar yet foreign, began to materialize before my eyes.

It was me, or at least a spectral rendition of me, shimmering with an ethereal glow. I blinked, unsure if my eyes were deceiving me, but the apparition remained, its form mirroring mine in every detail. With a shout, it extended a hand towards me, its eyes filled with a fire of life.
