However, shooting from the free-throw line, unguarded and with more time to prepare, was definitely different from shooting mid-range during the game.

The others tried to stop him. Shilei was able to get past Jet, and he raised his arm to block Kai's shot.

However, the ball had already left his hands, and the trajectory presented was higher than usual.

With how it was going, it seemed like the ball wasn't going to make it in.
