As Kakashi and Kitsuchi clashed, the disguised Dragon Ninja also engaged the Rock Ninja. Despite being outnumbered, the Dragon Ninja surprisingly gained the upper hand in the battle, much to Kitsuchi's shock.
With over two thousand Rock Ninjas against five hundred Dragon Ninjas, Kitsuchi had not anticipated such a scenario. This was a situation neither the Daimyo of the Land of Earth nor the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki, had foreseen.
Kitsuchi, struggling against Kakashi, found himself narrowly escaping death multiple times in their skirmish.
"Earth Release: Mountain Earth Technique!"
Using his left arm, Kitsuchi performed a large-scale jutsu, causing two massive hemispheres of rock, each over a hundred meters in diameter, to rise from the ground and encase Kakashi and most of the Dragon Ninja. The ground trembled as the solid rock hemispheres began to close in, creating an impending disaster for those trapped inside.
"Retreat!" Kitsuchi ordered his men without waiting to see the outcome, fearing the arrival of Kyomu.
As the Rock Ninjas prepared to retreat under the assault of the remaining Dragon Ninja, a sharp, elongated lightning streak shot out from the top of the enormous rock dome. This was followed by multiple similar streaks, transforming the dome into a dazzling light display.
Then, the thin streaks of lightning converged into a massive lightning column, which sliced through the solid rock dome like a hot knife through butter. The dome shattered, scattering debris and dust everywhere.
"Kill!" The Dragon Ninja trapped inside roared in unison, emerging with renewed vigor.
"This can't be happening!" Kitsuchi was now genuinely terrified. "How can Kakashi possess such powerful lightning jutsu?"
As he prepared to continue his retreat, the massive lightning column descended upon the Rock Ninja formation.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
Rock barriers rose in defense, but they were no match for the overwhelming lightning chakra, crumbling instantly under the assault.
The lightning column struck the ground, erupting into a violent explosion, sending electric currents and debris flying in all directions. The air filled with the screams of the Rock Ninjas, many of whom perished or were gravely injured.
Beads of cold sweat dripped from Kitsuchi's forehead, and his body froze as Kakashi's blade, Yukihime, sliced through the air and left a thin, bloody line around Kitsuchi's neck.
The sound of electric currents crackling followed, signaling that Kitsuchi couldn't even react to Kakashi's speed. His body stiffened, and he fell, dead before hitting the ground.
Kakashi, standing behind him, held Kitsuchi's severed head aloft, signaling the defeat of their leader to the remaining Rock Ninja.
"Victory for Kakashi-sama!"
"With Kitsuchi dead, let's finish them off!"
"Rock Ninja, don't flee! Join Kitsuchi in death!"
The Dragon Ninja, invigorated by Kakashi's victory, surged forward with renewed ferocity, while the Rock Ninja, demoralized by the loss of their leader, fell into disarray and fled.
With the Rock Ninja in full retreat, Kakashi fell to one knee, clutching his chest and coughing.
"Kakashi-sama!"
"I'm fine. Continue the pursuit but do not go too deep."
"Understood, Kakashi-sama."
Once his men moved out, Kakashi took a moment to regain his composure, noting the side effects of his technique.
"The Chidori Sharp Spear still has flaws. Extreme usage places a heavy burden on my body and causes temporary paralysis."
Inside his body, electric currents were wreaking havoc, disrupting his nervous system and making control difficult. After a few moments, he regained control and stood up, wiping Yukihime clean before sheathing it.
"Onoki will be mourning his son's death. He underestimated me."
Carrying Kitsuchi's head, Kakashi rejoined his men, who were celebrating their victory.
"Kakashi-sama, your technique was incredible! What do you call it?"
"Chidori Sharp Spear," Kakashi said, unable to hide a proud smile beneath his mask.
Surrounded by praises, Kakashi snapped back to reality and gave his orders.
"Retreat to the Land of Grass and fortify our defenses against a possible counterattack."
"Yes, Kakashi-sama!"
As the Dragon Ninja began fortifying their positions, Kakashi sent a report of the battle to Kyomu via a communication snake.

Back in the Ryukage's office, Kyomu was preparing for his departure when Yugito entered with an urgent report from Kakashi.
"Kyomu, an urgent report from Kakashi," Yugito said, handing over the document.
Kyomu quickly read through the report, a grin spreading across his face.
"Kakashi did it. He killed Kitsuchi. Onoki will have to pay for his recklessness."
Kyomu decided to wait and see Onoki's response.
Meanwhile, in the Tsuchikage's office, Onoki received the news of his son's death. His anguished roar echoed through the room.
"Hatake Kakashi!"
Hovering in mid-air with his Light-Weight Rock Technique, Onoki wept openly, his dignified appearance shattered by grief.
"Mobilize the troops! I will personally lead the attack on the Dragon Nation!"
Onoki's fury was unmatched, and he was ready for revenge.
"Tsuchikage-sama, the Daimyo forbids a full-scale war with the Dragon Nation," Akatsuchi, his guard, reminded him.
Onoki's rage was uncontrollable. "I will avenge my son! Must I seek the Daimyo's permission for that?"
Spittle flew from his mouth as he yelled, and Akatsuchi could only stand silently, enduring the outburst.
"I will kill Hatake Kakashi! And Kyomu too!"
Ignoring the protests from his advisors, Onoki gave the order to mobilize.
"Who agrees? Who opposes?" he demanded.
Silence filled the room, no one daring to speak against him.
"Then prepare for battle! I want results in two hours!"
"Yes, Tsuchikage-sama," the advisors reluctantly complied.
After they left, Onoki, still seething with anger, began to consider the future of Iwagakure. He couldn't die without securing a successor for his unique techniques, Light-Weight and Dust Release.
"Who can inherit my legacy?" Onoki pondered, knowing he had not found a suitable heir. His son, Kitsuchi, had been capable but unable to master Dust Release.
Grieving and lost in thought, Onoki's fury began to subside, replaced by the heavy responsibility of his village's future. His revenge plans momentarily halted by the pressing need to secure his legacy, Onoki faced a difficult decision.
"Father-in-law, please wait!" His daughter-in-law burst into the room, tears streaming down her face.
"Father-in-law, I'm carrying Kitsuchi's child..."
Onoki's eyes widened, and he flew to her side. "Truly?!"
"Yes, before Kitsuchi left for battle, I found out... I was going to tell him when he returned, but now..."
Onoki's heart, burning with a desire for revenge, cooled slightly. He now had a grandchild to consider.
"Then let Kakashi and Kyomu live a few more years!"
