Kapitel 29: Ch. 29 Forced To Stay

Having no choice, Aileen and Guin returned to the Alpha King's mansion.

"I won't believe that bastard Alpha King didn't tamper with the portal gate." Guin no longer doubted that she saw Alpha King as the main culprit behind the broken portal gate.

"Nonsense. Why do you think like that?" Aileen could feel Guin's anger, but she didn't understand why her sister was so sure that Lionel tampered with the portal gate.

"When did you come here through that gate?"

"About three hours ago."

"It was fine three hours ago, right? Is it only a coincidence that the portal gate broke after we arrived here?"

"Perhaps… it is indeed remarkably coincidental?" Aileen began to feel doubtful, but in her heart, Lionel couldn't possibly do something so petty. After all, why would the Alpha King damage the portal gate? What would he gain from preventing two mere girls from going home? "I think you're overreacting."
