Kapitel 53: What Have I Done?

Dante's POV

The night air was crisp as I stepped onto the cruise ship, the letter clenched tightly in my hand. My mind was racing, filled with questions I had no answers to. I couldn't shake the shock of what I had read—DNA reports proving that the child Elena carried, the one I had ruthlessly ended, was mine. My own flesh and blood. I had been so certain, so blinded by rage and betrayal. But now... now everything was unraveling.

I reached the meeting point indicated in the letter, a secluded area on the ship's deck. The rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the hull did little to soothe the storm brewing inside me. The anticipation gnawed at my insides, and I found myself pacing, waiting for the doctor to arrive.
