Vargus and Valeria approached a sprawling metropolis, its vastness becoming more apparent as they drew closer. Recognizing the need for discretion at the city's edge, Valeria summoned her green dragon back into her beast space.

With the dragon safely stored away, they continued on foot toward the bustling gate of the metropolis, where they were met by the guards that were guarding the gate.

As soon as the guards saw the huge and muscular Vargus, they instinctively reached for their weapons, ready to confront what they perceived as a potential threat. However, Valeria acted swiftly, producing a badge from her belongings with practiced ease.

The badge bore the emblem of a green dragon, a symbol well-known to the guards as the insignia of the Heavenly Beast Sect. With a glance at the emblem, the guards' initial tension eased, realization dawning upon them.
