"Call Elaine, I want to talk to her," Madam Mia stated with a stern voice. Her arms were crossed in front of her as she waited for Glynn to make the call.
Glynn, on the other hand, was shocked. She blinked her eyes while staring at her mother for two seconds, only when she was convinced that Madam Mia was not joking, did Glynn let out a disbelieving scoff. "Mom, are you being serious right now?"
Madam Mia frowned as she remarked, "Of course, I am being serious. You caused your brother to be divorced and made our entire family become the butt-end of a joke. Not to forget that your grandfather will be returning in a week!"
"I shiver just thinking about what will happen then. And I haven't forgotten that the last time, I trusted you, I caught you in the apartment of that beggar."
"Regal is not a beggar, mom!" Glynn exclaimed. Even though Regal had hurt her, Glynn couldn't bear to listen to her mother call Regal upsetting names.
