IMOGEN'S POV

Shock would be an understatement. I had to be hearing Mr. Rossi wrong.

"Sir..." I didn't know what what words were supposed to come out next. "I don't... understand."

The lawyer seemed to take it upon himself to explain. "It is quite simple Mrs. Imogen. Money.... No matter how big will definitely expire. Shared however-"

"I know how shares work," I retorted. "What I don't understand is why you would give that to me. I appreciate what you believe to be doing for me. The trust fund is... The trust fund is more than enough. But shares to the company, no matter how well intentioned, will only spell trouble. If the divorce happens, I would just like a simple life. One out of Portland and the trust fund is more than enough for me and my parents to do that."
