Kapitel 10: Nine's Own Goal

There was no fancy animation, and Nix was immediately teleported to Midgard.
A few levels 15-17 players hung around, chatting with each other.
Noticing him they tried to create small talk.

Nix with his NIL social skills decided to ignore them and moved out. The players were a little annoyed for being ignored but continued their discussion.
What he saw surprised him, was just as beautiful [Midgard] was. Nix didn't know how to describe it.
Maybe after staying in the pale world of Helhime for so long, he could truly appreciate the beauty of this realm. The sky was clear blue with some clouds, and groups of various species of birds flew about.
The trees were filled with life and the air felt more purer. Calling the place lively would be an understatement, groups of players could be hanging out, looking for party members asking for stuff, etc.
Compared to this place Helhime was a barren wasteland [Helhime] was this place truly looked like the realm of the gods.
Nix took a stroll around the city, he talked with some NPCs to get the local map and a few potions after which he accepted a few hunting quests and got out of the town to a nearby forest to level up to other things.
After which he got immersed in completing quests and time passed in the blink of an eye.

//TIME SKIP:- 3 WEEKS
It had been 3 weeks since Nix moved over to [Midgard], during these weeks Nix reached level 35 by defeating tons of bosses and even managed to complete 2 dungeons.
This caused him to get quite famous among the players of Midgard as a mysterious high-level player with playtime that only a gaming addict could have.
Some tried their luck and wanted to recruit him in their clans but he rejected them immediately telling them he had plans to make his own.
He had done a lot, gotten new better items, and better gear, and got the [Arcane Assasin] and [Magic Caster] class which granted him access to magic again and increased the damage output of his magic spells.
The good thing about being a Humanoid player was that he could use all his levels on his job class without worrying about Racial levels, making his character highly versatile in many fields.
He also had bought [Robes of Uelgar] which increased his agility and strength by 15% from a suspicious merchant for a HEAFTY price.
The [Monster Hunter] class he had gotten after killing heteromorphic players did extra damage against heteromorphs and monsters, which he had gotten after his adventures in [Helhime] made hunting and earning gold easier.
Other players were now hunting the heteromorphic players to get unique classes.
After killing a certain number of them you got unique classes that granted special benefits.
Adding to the fact that they most of the time looked ugly or scary with access to more monster-type builds, they were perceived as evil and should be hunted down.
Nix of course ignored such idiotic justifications to ruin other people's days just for fun, playing an s hero instead he messed around with his weapons and fighting styles and stuff and he had gotten a lot of new unknown skills that the OG didn't have.
He also confirmed things like reaching level 0 gets your account deleted.
The items from the SL system's unique properties bypass other players' resistances and immunities, making them semi-WORLD items.
He also enjoyed hoarding monster drops as his inventory had no limits, he also noticed no changes happened with his real-life body.
'I wanted to get that ripped body in real life. The number of subscribers I have would have doubled or tripled if I had shown a body like that but I guess it wasn't meant to be.'
He had been unable to make friends during this time and was currently focusing on other important things
(Totally not because of his nonexistent social skills.)
He focused on completing a chain of quests, to get better items, and leveling up.
He also managed to gain new skills and increase their levels as well. These included [Tenacity LV.1], [Advanced Dagger Arts LV.1], [Advanced Sword Arts LV.1], [Advanced Unarmed Combat LV.1],[Critical Attack LV.1], and [Dash LV.2], etc.
Tenacity made him harder to kill, [Advanced Dagger Arts LV.1], [Advanced Sword Arts LV.1] and [Advanced Unarmed Combat LV.1] made him deal more damage when using them or fighting unarmed, and critical attacks allowed him to deal more damage by targeting the opponent's vital points.
While the upgraded version of [Dash] increased his already impressive speed by 40%, Nix was now completely sure that no player regardless of their level could even hope to kill him now.
His speed was too much for the human mind. His speed would have been too much for a normal hunter let alone a normal human.
There were some other skills he had gotten which were more geared towards spell casing.
For example one of his skills is called [Chantless Mage LV. 1] which allows him to use some spells (or skills that use mana) without shouting their names or casting.
Nix had acquired another skill [Chant Empowerment LV.1] which boosted the effectiveness of his spells and skills(that use mana) by 30% more.
This just goes to show the versatility of the SL system. Now after practicing his skills, Nix was on his way to the World Bridge to visit [Niflheim] where a limited-time event was going on.
He decided to spend some money on the Gacha in hopes of getting some OP items.

It was one of the many newly added items after Yggdrasil's various updates. So he did what he did beast gambeled more.

The game had updated many times since its launch, adding many new items, classes, and gacha rewards.
They added a new feature of a waiting room which could be used to make plans or meet up with friends across different worlds without travelling to them.
During his time in Midgard, he became quite popular as he was the highest player with the most insane equipment and skills.
A lot of players had been trying to befriend or kill him either case didn't work out for them.
One group even tried to assassinate him in a dungeon needless to say they all died pretty quickly and Nix made an example out of them and disrespected them so badly they deleated their accounts.
After learning their lesson wherever he went everyone respected him and even made stories about him, which was cool but it also made doing something as simple as selling items tedious as people took note of everyting single thing he did.
Thankfully he had gained the [Conclement] skill as a reward for killing a group of PKrs who tried to mess with him which he had been using a lot recently.
'Those morons who almost got me killed, good thing I had been grinding leve, and skillsl. '
He remembered at that time he was level 24and had taken them lightly but later when they were about to die they took out an item [Daldrig's Call] which was horn which when they used it summoned all the nearby mnsters to the location of the user.
He was currently at that time in a level 27-30 monster area He would have ran away if it wasn't for the fact he was surrounded the players and all the monsters.
'Tough times, those bastards almost got me killed thankfully they were useful at east as baits.'

After reaching the [Galbtine Village] which was located quite far from the center of the realm and had some high-level NPCs and monsters around.
After selling all his useless stuff he bought some helath potions and quickly went to the World Bridge and teleported to [Asguard]
The players around him used to the atmosphere seemed to be cracking jokes buying/selling stuff to each other.
As the others noticed him, they got alertedby his high level.
Nix, unfazed by their change, continued to look around until he found a group of humanoid players bullying a skeleton in the distance.
Nix then activated his [Conclement] skill got out of the safe zone almost immediately arrived behind them and started listening to their conversation.

Seeing things were about to get serious Nix decided to help the poor skeleton.
He took out [Rasaka's Dagger] and used [Dash]. He then jumped, in mid-air he used [Barrage], then opened his emotes and selected his favourite one in which his coat fluttered in the wind.

As he landed his cape fluttered as the PKRs died before they could understand anything. Being satasfied with his performance he turned around and collected all the items after which he casually walked towards the skeleton named Momanga.

It had been a month since Nix had found [Momonga] and others like him were being hunted for job classes.
Nix and Momanga had been leveling up killing PKRs and mosnters alike.
During there time together Momanga managed to level up to level 25, while the average player was at level 22.
If not for Momanga's huge workload and lack of time he would have been around level 27-26.
They also ran into a Heteromorphic player named [TouchMe] with whome Nix and Momanga became close friends as he also went around helping Heteromorphic players.
Ther first meeting was quite comidic.
Momanga was being cahsed by a group of PKRs at that time and Nix was quite far and even with his speed it would have taken some time to get there.
Momanga got cornered and was about to be killed when [TouchMe] managed to assassinate the PKRs in time.
When Nix managed to get there [TouchMe] thought Nix was there to get revenge for the death of his friends or soemthing but after talking for a while he quickly became close friends with [TouchMe] and [Momonga] they went around and saved heteromorphic players from being camped for classes.
They found other Heteromorphic players also goined there cause.
They were nine friends, a paladin, a swordmaster, a priest, an assassin, a two-sword ninja, a sorcerer, a chef, a necromancer and a blacksmith.
They quickly became comrades in arms, foghting for a single cause.
They would extend a helping hand to each other at any time. Over the course of time, as the number of group members in Nine's Own Goal steadily increased, Nix noted how they tend to share their joys and their sorrows together both in gamea and real life.
Nix seeing this proposed the idea of forming a clan in one their weekely meetings they held regularly which everyone agreed upon.
Thus this marked the begginnig of a legend. The legend of Nine's Own Goal.
They went around punishing humanoid and saving Heteromorphic players, making their fame rise faster than the shield hero and unlike him kept rising both in fame and in levels, as more and more players joined their clan.
With all this killiing Nix naturall was way past level 40 and was actually about to reach level 55! He also had gotten a lot of better gear, skills and spells.

Today none of his friends were coming online not even Momanga who somehow managed to rival Nix in his playhours.
Seeing this oportunity Nix finally decided to complete his job quest.

This window had been annoying him crazy, sometimes Nix almost went in there just because how annoying the system was being but controlled himself knowing that Igris could slap him into the shadow realm if he wasn't carefull.
He opened the system shop and after browising for a while in the system shop he bought the knight slayer.
It caused a dent in his coin saving which said a lot about its absurd price but it had two benefits it would make him breeze through the knights and it looked cool as hell.
He also wanted to buy a sword but decided he would make it later.
With all that prepared he accepted the quest and purple coloured lightning struck something mid-air, it slowly morphed into a purple which seemed to shatter the space around itself.
It then shattered which caused purple lightning to fly in all directions colouring the whole area purple.
