He pulled the trigger, and the explosion of the bullet sounded different this time when it connected with the brain.

Clearly, they hit the jackpot and Charm had shockingly got it right.

The brain was the weak spot. 

Even while the head reeled from the impact of the bullet.

The rest of the zombie still crept towards them with a steadfast and single minded determination.

A hole in the brain would have stopped a human but not a zombie.

It just kept moving towards them. 

Her heart pounded deafeningly in her eardrums. 

It didn't seem like this girl was inhumanly strong but why wouldn't she stay dead.

Time wasn't of the essence for this zombie as it acted like it wasn't in a hurry,
