Kapitel 235: The Ashbourne

The Ashbourne family and their guests continued eating and enjoying the food until a voice from the door caught their attention.

"AHHH!!! Why didn't you guys wait for me?"

Farty shouted as she ran toward the dining table, her long ponytail bouncing with each step.

"Come here, my baby, Freya!" Amane waved her hand, beckoning Farty closer.

Farty nodded and made her way to Amane. The only available chair was on top of Amane's lap, so the little girl climbed up and sat down. She then carved a piece of pork for her and placed it on her plate.

"Thank you, Amane!" Farty said, happily munching on the meat.

"Anything for you, baby," Amane replied, brushing Farty's hair affectionately.

Lucien furrowed his brows at the exchange. "Baby? Freya? What's that? Her name is Farty."

Amane shot him a glare. "What do you mean? Can't I call a child my baby? I do it because I want a baby! A grandchild!"
