This sensation of almost having absolute control but not being able to fully dominate was supremely comforting to Kang Chen.

It made Kang Chen even more displeased with Ming Mei.

He snapped sarcastically, "Since you're better now, stop causing trouble. I don't want to witness this again."

Supporting her body to lift herself up a bit, Ming Mei brushed the hair strands off her face, giving a weak smile, "Rest assured, there won't be a next time. But you... I made it through. Aren't you disappointed?"

Ming Mei couldn't help but prick Kang Chen with her words. Thinking of how he was just reveling in pleasures moments ago irritated her.

Ming Mei watched as Kang Chen laughed - and it seemed like he really meant it, but it made her feel shaky inside.

She knew she wasn't the type of woman with a stunningly beautiful body. Her appeal lied in her delicate features and her elegant, fresh aura which floated above the mundane world like a fairy untouched by mortal sins.
