Kapitel 15: Agatha The Builder
"All you have to do is to drop your blood on the page." Amelia said. The people now think this is just parlor tricks to scare them. The contract also states that the soldiers are obligated to fight enemies who threaten the safety of the base. All their benefits and obligations are clearly listed.
After everyone bled on their contract, she put them into space and then told them to move to the restuarant to get a bottle of medicine a cup of fruit juice. The instructions is to drink a all these liquids before going back to your room.
Be ready to use the rest room. After they drank the concoction and the small juice, they each left for their residents. The whole day people were puking foul smelling black liquid, the body covered in this black goo.
The first day was miserable for almost all of them. Amelia went to the top floor and found the children talking and out of their cocoons.
"Leader!" They each stood up and greeted her. She looked at each of them.
"Not bad. How do you feel?"
They each told her how they feel stronger, the boys shoulders got wider, the muscles on everyone got sturdy and more powerful. Seeing them with more energy she gave them the same concoction as the people downstairs. She left them after giving clear instructions on what to do after drinking.
She estimates one week of this and then she will swish to another routine.
The snake wanted to start with the work. In the close proximity to the hospital, there are several large mountains. The snake said the stone quality is good there.
That is why she gave the medicine to old Mo to continue distributing it to the soldiers. She went to the mountains with the snake. Amelia had also thought about the materials for the construction. When the two get to the mountains there are several powerful auras that made the both of them very careful.
"There." The snake said and Amelia followed the gaze.
"That is one large mountain." She said looking tired already.
"It is also the most ancient. The earth properties are strong there, whatever you do don't bring that one, it's full of iron essence."
Amelia widened her eyes at that. "I need iron the most." She said jumping towards the mountain.
"I will come back when you are done cutting it so I can take it away."
"Wait. Are you suggesting I do this by myself?" Agatha deadpanned.
"I will need my mental power to put it in the space. Stop complaining and start working." Amelia disappeared. When she came back, Agatha had cut out a part of the mountain.
She took that part into space and began helping the large snake. When they finished she put it all into her space. The job finished early because she decided to use the space blade.
She put the snake back into space and then walked back down the mountain. These mountains are very close to the base, leveling them and creating more space may bring more opportunities in the future.
She then took out the car to drive the rest of the way. She went past the police station but did not go in.
It has been over a month since the apocalypse started. The number of zombies has increased substantially since a week ago, she needs to have those people strong sooner than later.
However, guns are useful for now, should an army of zombies come while Agatha is sleeping, the guns will allow those soldiers to protect the base without dying. She just needs to get them. Especially this Jiangkang police station, many automatic heavy rifles are stored in a basement. They get discovered by one of the heroines subordinates in the future.
Parking the car she put parts of the large mountain on each side of the hospital. She then released Agatha who began working on molding the stones before cracking open a foundation putting liquid hot lava like substance inside and stretching it up the sky.
Amelia is going around drawing the place where she should build so the city wall doesn't end up looking out of shape. A round shape should be round. Amelia used plants to shape the path.
Amelia wants to be able to put heavy weapons on the wall and rain down attack on the enemy below.
The wall is tall enough that no zombie army can pile up and let some of their comrades walk on them to reach high. This is the ultimate wall. This city will be impregnable when the wall is finished. Her excitement peaked when she saw how fast Agatha's progress is.
She also realized a problem. Because the wall is going to be taller than normal, more stones are needed. She sighed and decided to go back after checking on the solders.
Taking the car she went out after giving the fasting pills to old Mo. She anticipates no one will want to eat food for a while. Making a few thousand pills is not too troublesome now that she has a higher cultivation level.
She did the routine of cutting down mountains for a few hours even while using the space blade. The place is left flat after a single day, what she didn't anticipate was finding another large ore mountain. She is certain she can make her paste now.
This will be used to build the outer city when the time comes. She will make a house using those with earth ability and then hire people to paste the solution all over the stone houses. The structure will be very sturdy even if there is an earthquake as long as the foundation is made with the paste, the houses will not be damaged.
Even normal soul flames will have a hard time shaking it. This decision was made when she realized how much of the materials she has to make the paste. The problem will be the plumbing system. The walls can not be drille so the water pipes they have to be outside the wall.
She is done with the stone gathering and the animals seem to have run out of forestry. They went away to other nearby forests which is further away from the base.
When she came back with the stones and soil from the mountains. Agatha is surprised by her initiative. Knowing she will do the job perfectly, Amelia decides to visit the police station after a well deserved rest.
She took one purple mental fruit and fell asleep. The puppy has been licking her face for a long time but she won't wake up. The puppy went out by itself. It appeared outside and ran to play.
Amelia doesn't know the puppy has space and it is still a level above five. She has been feeding it the blue mental fruit for a while now just to see what happens.
When she woke up, Amelia had to admit to herself that she was defeated by the mountains because she slept for one day and one night. The construction outside is continuing unhindered. She went to the restaurant and replenished the supplies for the solders and the orphanage. The general food is stored in the storages. She made sure to put enough for at least a few months.
The nine children she gave them a purple mental fruit each and then gave them the same as those down stairs. The concoction as she had suspected, made all the people eat the fasting pill instead of food.
She used this entire day to make the concoction to fill up almost three empty water tanks from space. These should last for at least two weeks. The 9 kids up stairs will also go to the restaurant to get the refill of the stuff.
Amelia's soldiers are getting stronger and the wall is getting built by Agatha so she will go get weapons that everybody loves so much. She didn't forget to leave the fasting pills with old Mo. Driving to the police station took two hours.
In order to improve the army's abilities and aptitude, Amelia made several hundreds of the immortality pills using the grass inside the space. She then broke them into the medicine to ensure the potency will increase ten folds.
Now the soldiers are suffering even more everyday become how strong the immortality pills are. The soldiers saw the results almost a day later which encouraged them to continue. People awoken their abilities everyday and the power level improved.
The level didn't reach level 2 but the level of potential inside each soldier increased by several folds. The abilities talents can be said to be graded by f to sss. The mental power is used to test how much potential a person has. The stronger the mental power the further that person can reach in power levels as they grow.
The immortality grass improves this talent, increasing each person's future achievements at an astonishing pace. This is why they are suffering so much under the cleansing and restructuring of the immortality grass. Of course people only feel like they are able to grow more powerful faster and their level of control for their abilities improves everyday.
In truth, the resources used on these people are worth an astronomical amount of wealth. Which is why Amelia made them sign a contract. Their strength can only belong to her in this life unless they can earn hundreds of millions in crystal nucleus and exchange them for their freedom.
The zombies are too many on the road now. This is why she is making an exaggerated high wall around the base. For the moment, zombies are not so rampant as to ignore Agatha's aura because of their strength but soon they will be hungry enough to challenge the heavens.
The car soon entered the police station. The outside has many zombies she didn't bother with the main building she already studied the location of the armory. She went there, there are already level two zombies all around the place.
Amelia especially likes to kill these guys. Level two crystal nuclei has more energy than the level one. She took her time as hordes of zombies flocked her way. She made a single long space blade and cut multiple heads at once.
The vines drilled and took out all the crystal nuclei, she even took out a bag and opened it up for it to put them inside. However, the vines seem to be able to send the crystal nuclei straight into her space. How miraculous! But remembering the mixture of the two powers in her nuclei it makes sense.
The heads kept rolling and the crystal nuclei piled up in space. She realized it will take all day like this. These zombies never end.
Amelia made a space barrier and walked upfront. The zombies can see her but they can not eat no matter how much they try. The level two and three zombies roared angrily and even more zombies flocked this way.
She finally made it to the armory and opened the doors. Three large zombie dogs came out barking and roaring, they all jumped to take a bite but she is surrounded by a space barrier. They slammed on the barrier and fell backwards but they are not giving up.
The annoying thing is that she has to come out of the barrier to fight. So she warps a distance from the dogs and then used space blades cutting them in half. Amy had been trying to cut their heads but the dogs are very fast.
The parts on the ground wiggled trying to reach her. She quickly sent out blades to cut off the heads. She took the level three crystal nucleus and put them in her bag. She went into the warehouse but there are three more zombies.
One level 5 and two level 4. She got ready to fight. The most powerful one just stood and didn't fight while the other two came at her. Their stench in the warehouse is strong, the bodies are very sturdy but the flesh has rotted and turned black.
One of them disappeared in black smoke and appeared next to her. She didn't move and made a barrier. The other one changed his arms into sharp scythe dripping poison. It moved very fast as well. Knowing these are both assassin type powers. She pulled out two sharp long blades she locked the poison zombie inside a locked space, just as she is about to execute him, the other zombie appeared in front of her.
She attacked and cut the head down cleanly. The one inside the space roared in anguish and rage seeing her friend's head. Amelia disappeared from her spot appearing a distance from where she was.
The level five zombie had used the death of poison zombie to attack with a torrent of flames. The color is even green now. Good guy. Such talent!
The one locked in space had been released when she wrapped away. It came after her like a flying dagger. She locked it again and sent multiple blades in there. The results are a mess of hard flesh just like the one from the hospital.
The zombie was also a metal type. She waited and the vines took the crystal nuclei. The remaining zombie followed the attack with small flames shooting out of his hands like a gun firing bullets.
The small flames are actually condensed flames and they burn through everything. She jumped and sent a blade. This dance continued until she was able to lock him inside a space lock and obliterate him with space blades.
She took away the crystal nuclei and went to clean the three story warehouse. Thousands of guns tens of thousands of bullets. This is one warehouse, there is another one inside. That one is holding things mainly taken from criminals. The one she is most interested in is underground.
In the times of technology, guns have been evolving as much as other weapons. She wants the storage where the heroine's companion fell inside by a mistake and got tens of thousands of guns in the form of long guns that use chain bullets.
She knows now the dog author just wanted to gift these to the heroine. Why would a police station have soldiers weapons? Do they go to war? Are they smuggling these weapons to enemy forces?
It didn't make any sense but she will gladly take these guns from her. The floor in inside the first warehouse on the ground floor under an iron staircase. She saw it the place where someone may fall in.
Careful to open the decaying metal and took the stairs down. She sent her mental power to search for anything suspicious. Liang Mei took away these weapons easily but she is not the heroine but the other guy. So she will have to be very careful.
The place does not have weapons in the open like upstairs, instead it looks like and old library but instead of books on the shelves, there are boxes. She checked and became speechless.
Why do these look new? Were the police station really smuggling weapons or...a dog author will always be a dog author. She went into her space and made a larger place, using the plants she made wood shelves the sturdy ones.
The process of transporting had started. She transported the guns and the bullets inside the space. The amount was a bit overwhelming but good news nonetheless. A day went by like this.
when she came out it is already night. She heard a something but couldn't make out the specifics, so she sent her spirit power. Intake of a sharp breathe.
So many people? Smiling to herself, she went to look for a large trunk. The last talismans has been upgraded now that she is level 5 condensation stage.
She put them on the truck and silently cleaned up the zombies inside the police station. Putting on the concealment talisman prevents her from alerting the enemy of her arrival.
She will not exude the tempting smell and then zombies will only follow the sound of the fight. When she already gotten tens of crystal nucleus she closed the gate of the police station and went inside the building.
The survivors are in the underground mainly consist of women and children. There are fat men, old men including small boys. She is still studying the situation when she heard a gasp. Listening closely she couldn't hear more but it doesn't come from the people in the underground. Are there other survivors upstairs?
This is when she realized her mental power can not be sent into the first floor. This eluded her before as she could clearly see many places.
Going inside she had to use the small opening from the third floor which is crawling with zombies. She killed the zombies as silently as she could but there was too many. The building has four floors if one counts the lower ground but each floor is very big.
Resulting in a steep set of staircases.
The third and second floor has zombies, the path to the lower floors has been barred by all sorts of shelves. Amelia committed a massacre in the upper floors. She also learned to remain inside a barrier and split her focus to release the space blades while still holding the barrier around herself.
This is improvement in the understand of her power that she hadn't had before. The problem with raising one's strength using supplements is the slow progress in the understanding of the said power. This will result in the stagnation in progress at a certain level until she learns all the knowledge she was supposed to learn in the previous levels steadily.
She then decided to polish this knew understanding. At the start she could only release a handful of blades like this but as time went on, the number increased. Soon she is learning to make another barrier while fighting.
She spent the night like this, in the end she managed to make three shields of large barriers while releasing space blades in numbers.
Amelia finished with the zombies and started looking for the map that includes a world class prison that holds powerful descendants and those from prominent backgrounds. She wants to take this place for herself.
The prisoners there are soon going to run out of resources. She wants to turn this place into another base of operations for herself. She doubts if others know of this place, those that knows it are incapable of occupying it for themselves.
In the novel, a man named Shane became a powerful spirit ability user. His talent was estimated to be an S level talent. He could move and bend things with a single thought.
He was turned in by his own president when he showed his plans to unite the world under the rule of Japan. Shane is a ruthless, powerful and a political genius of this century.
The president was in awe of his talent but more than that, he felt threatened by this man. So he secretly contacted the UN to send it's most powerful ability users to subdue and imprison him.
The Island is in a place not marked on any map for the safety of the world. If someone had any ideas about breaking out even one of those criminals, the world power structure may be reshaped in less than 5 years.
Amelia wants to check if this map is in this high level police station so she can take it. In the novel, Shane wanted to unite the inmates and use them as his army to concur the world when the virus broke out and the UN stopped caring about the prisoners, but he was easily outclassed by the other talents in the prison.
He was locked up in the darkest cell while someone else rule the island. Shane is a very patient man. He stayed in the dark and waited.
He later broke out of the cell after months of eating insects and practicing his abilities until he got powerful enough to carry his body in the air for a week straight. He used this method to fly away from the Island after assassinating everyone with the most powerful talents and then some.
Shane committed a massacre on the island before flying out of there. He only left those lowly inmates considered slaves to the powerful. He realized the ability users in the Island will contend with him out there if they go to inland.
In that stage of the novel, the real final boss Shane had come and his background story was well written. Of course he loses but he has already brought down the UN, the Americans and Russia using schemes to kill off the most powerful known talents and then swept the place with his mighty army.
Shane may have been the final boss but he is the reason Chine became the leading player when the first alien space ship landed. Shane had wanted to save the Chinese for last so he can savor the glorious victory his ancestors couldn't achieve.
But China is full of hidden families just like Japan. The difference is that Japanese hidden families came out to support his dreams while the Chinese came out to destroy his victory. The heroine is of course also in the assault team and she also drew blood on the final boss.
The people on the first floor couldn't hear the roaring of zombies anymore and figured they are planning something.
Everyone is on edge checking the only opening between the floors pointing guns at the slightest of sounds.
"Human, I'm human and a little girl, don't shoot a child or you'll go to hell later." Wait, did that sound like a threat?
"Show yourself!" Someone from the group of police officers shouted.
"Don't shout...zombies everywhere..." Amelia said in a low voice. She sounds amused. The people with guns looked at each other in dismay.
