KILLING OF AN IMMORTAL
Soon, a powerful beam was fired on the Lich King that froze part of his chest. Then another scorching beam followed the freezing beam to break open the Lich King's chest.
"Wrath of Ice and Fire"
"Damn, my beam couldn't break his chest", Chash complained to us.
Although Chash's magic broke the armor on the Lich King's chest, it failed to wound his chest.
"What should I do? I am getting restless", Anitor said to us.
"You should draw the liches that emerge from the village's unholy grounds into the center of the Lantern of Regret's beams", I told him.
"Got it", he replied to me as a gravity force soon enveloped the village.
The force slowly pushed the Liches that emerged from the ground to the middle of the village where the Lantern of Regret's light was the strongest.
"I should do my part too", Eless told us when suddenly a firestorm fell on the liches.
"Don't count me out", Cassandra told us as she created a powerful magic circle in the sky above the Lich King with her magical spheres.
Suddenly, something appeared from the middle of the magic circle of magical spheres, as a long and sharp sword that was made from condensed flame emerged. The flaming sword rushed toward the Lich King to consume the monster.
"Sword of Brimstone"
"Hey, that spell is good", Eless told Cassandra.
"Yeah, a rude girl taught that to me", Cassandra replied to her.
But the Lich King couldn't be killed by the Sword of Brimstone despite its powerful magic flame. However, it broke more of the armor on the Lich King's body and killed the liches around him.
"You will not kill me so easily", the Lich King screamed toward us.
"What are we going to do, we can't kill the Lich King?" Epius asked us.
"I might be able to open the Lich King's chest, but I am not sure it will destroy his heart", I told Epius.
"If you can get his chest to open up, I can detonate his heart", Epius told us.
Suddenly, the sharp tip of a blinding spear appeared in the sky. Soon, a weapon of immense proportion emerged that rushed down toward the Lich King.
"Lance of Drakul"
"Hey, is that your spell? We've never seen you use it before", Epius asked me.
The Control Freak watched my powerful summoned spear shoot down at the Lich King and they wondered how many secrets that I kept from them.
"This is not magic that can be summoned by a templar even if he has the Angel Affinity", Iras said to them, commenting about my conjured spear.
"This spear conjuration is as powerful as a High Apostle's Sword beam", Eless added her observation.
"Who are you really, Oriese?" Illiwyn asked me with wonderment, not believing my powerful conjured magic.
"Keep this a secret. I seldom reveal this magic unless I have to", I replied to them.
Soon, the magical spear struck the Lich King as his entire body was engulfed in flame. The village of the Sun Tree was burned to the ground. Even the ground around the Lich King sunk into a pit, the earth destroyed by the magic of the spear.
"Did we kill the Lich King?" Cassandra asked.
"No, Epius. Its your turn", I told Epius.
Despite casting my strongest conjured lance on the Lich King, it failed to kill him. But it caused his chest to be opened by the scorching of the spear.
The Lich King's heart though wasn't hurt too badly.
Suddenly, thousands of flying hornets flew into the chest of the Lich King with the sound of mechanical buzzes as the turning of the lever activates its mechanisms. The mechanical hornets rushed into the heart of the Lich King before they detonated.
"Buzzing Hornet Swarms"
Soon, more hornets detonated inside the Lich King's heart as he screamed in pain.
"You shall not kill me. I am Immortal", the Lich King screamed to us.
The Lich King called on his liches to him.
His liches could sacrifice themselves to empower and heal him in time of need. The Lich King's liches were needed now, but none of them appeared to his calling.
"Where are my liches?" the Lich King screamed.
"They are either destroyed or prevented from getting to you. This is your doom", I shouted to the Lich King.
Our magic destroyed many liches that were rooted out from the ground by the Lantern of Regret. Those liches who weren't destroyed were prevented from getting near the Lich King by Anitor's gravity field.
"Arggghhhhh", the Lich King screamed as finally his heart was blown up and destroyed.
The Lich King fell to the ground and was killed.
Our mission was a success.
I quickly went to collect the Lich King's head and transported it into my Faberge ring. The head of the Lich King was the proof of my completion of the A-rank mission from the mission center of the Knight Templar Academy.
Soon, we returned to our choppers to be ferried back to the Templar Mountains.

"Did we actually kill the Lich King by ourselves? Last time it took many teams of conjurers and an army of Apostles to be able to kill him?" Illiwyn asked us.
"The Lich King is more dead than dead", Ratatouille replied to her as he went to retrieve his Lantern of Regret from Iras.
Ratatouille loaned his Lantern of Regret to Iras, so that he could cast the lantern's powerful illumination on the Lich King and his surroundings.
"The apostles managed to kill the Lich King last time because we severed his heart from the Sun Tree", Chash told them.
"Who are you people really?" Eless asked us.
"We are the bodyguards of Oriese, the Baron of the Knight Templar", Cassandra told them.
"I am curious. How did you destroy the Sun Tree? We didn't even send anybody down to the village," Iviar asked me.
"I sent conjurers down to the village", I replied to him.
"What happened to the conjurers?" Anitor asked me.
"They were sacrificed to the Sun Tree", I replied to them to their shock and horror.
