Kapitel 8: Classmates
A week later:
- Doffi, this looks like it's meant for you, - Mum said, finding the envelope with the academy seal on the doorstep.
- Yes, it's the result of the entrance exam. - I replied, taking it.
At my mother's excited reaction, I took it up to my room to open it in peace. I was very curious to know my ranking.
Sitting down at my desk at work, I sighed and opened the envelope. A round metal thing fell out. I immediately realised that it was a holographic transmitter.
Switching it on, I saw an image of a humanoid mouse with a scar over its eye. It was a big shot and a highly respected figure.
- Greetings, Doflamingo. My name is Nezu and I am the principal of UA Academy. - He said, spreading his arms and smiling. - I personally announce the results to the top three in the exam.
Hmm, there was nothing about that in the canon. So Bakugo and Kirishima got the exact same messages. At least in the anime they were in first and second place.
- We didn't say it in the exam, but it's the judges, i.e. the teachers, who award the save points. - Nezu continued his speech with his fingers crossed. - You did a decent job saving many people from the rubble or from the same robots, so you were awarded 58 points. Taking into account the defeated enemies as well, your total score is 123 points.
Haha, that's high praise for me. It's interesting to see Katsuki's reaction when his classmate, who didn't stand out much, overtook him. Although he's probably more pissed that Iziku passed the exam.
- Congratulations on your first place in the rankings, my young friend. I look forward to seeing you in three days within the walls of our academy. - The headmaster finished his speech and the transmitter switched off.
Everything worked out even easier than I thought. I'll have to cross paths with Tetsutetsu and make fun of him.
Leaving the room, I went to tell my parents that I got into UA Academy.
- We're very proud of you. - My father and mother said and hugged me.
It's been a long time, but I can't quite get used to them. They are good people, but when I think of my mother from the past world, I feel sad. After all, I'm afraid to even imagine what happened to her after she learnt of my death.

Finishing hugging my parents, I moved away from them and at the same time I received a notification on my phone. Opening it to look at it, I saw that a teacher from school wants to talk to me tomorrow.
Most likely he wants to congratulate me, as in fact even after passing the exams the study process was still going on and will only end tomorrow. In my old world, studying lasted until May.
The next day, putting on my black coloured school uniform for the last time I went to the Oruder school.
In the teaching room I met Bakugo and Midoriya, who were already chatting with the teacher. After greeting them, I stood next to them.
- I can't believe that three students from our school got into UA. Especially Midoriya. - Said the head of our class after looking at each of us. - And you Donquixote surprised me a lot too, since you very rarely showed your quirk before.
- I didn't see the point of it. - I answered him with a bored face.
After talking for about 20 minutes, we left the teaching room. Really for the sake of interest I followed the green-haired man, and for good reason.
He and the hedgehog went up to the roof of the school and started arguing, or rather the latter threatened the former to transfer to another place. The weepy guy seemed to be more confident after his training with the All mighty and said firmly, looking into the eyes of the bomb, that he would not give up his dream.
Ara swung round in anger and wanted to hit the guy, but....
- Ara Ara, you shouldn't fight. - I said, intercepting his arm.
- Tz, and you're here. - Bakugo replied, pulling his arm out.
Then throwing an angry look at Midoriya, walked away.
I just fixed my glasses and was about to leave as well when the green-haired man stopped me.
- Thank you, Doflamingo. A lot of things changed in my life that day after our conversation. - He said with a goofy smile.
- Then I hope you stop being a cowardly lamb.
Two days later, I was already walking inside the academy. I decided that I should be one of the first to arrive, so instead of the scheduled 8 o'clock, I arrived at 7. The uniform that I had to wear was a grey jacket, white shirt, red tie, blue trousers and normal shoes.
As far as I remember there were 4 entrants by recommendation who did not have to take the exam. Two are allocated to each class. In mine, there would be a boy with a grudge against his father and a rich girl.
It didn't take me long to find the right door, which said 1-A and was 6 metres high. I don't know what the designers were thinking, but whatever.
When I opened the door, I saw a bespectacled man and a girl in red in the classroom, who had come by recommendation.
- Yo,- I greeted them, raising my palm.
The bespectacled man, seeing me, immediately rushed towards me and on the way started introducing himself.
- My name is Tenya Iida. I want to...
- I see, and I'm Doflamingo Donquixote. - I replied, interrupting his speech.
He stopped in surprise.
- My name is Momo Yaoyorozu,- said a girl with a rather mature build for her age. She had black hair with a quiff on the right side, which was tied back in a large, pointed ponytail.
- Yeah, very nice to meet you. - and sat down, near the window.
They both looked at me and started asking me all sorts of questions, mostly about my quirk. I didn't answer them.
Just after ten minutes other classmates started to come up and everyone started to get acquainted with each other. Shoto Todoroki, the second recommended student, came over and sat behind me.
When Kirishito saw me, he immediately sat next to me and talked to me as if we were old friends. I felt sorry and hoped that this guy would switch to Bakugo and leave me alone.
When he came in, he looked arrogantly at the others, fixed his eyes on me and then sat down at the desk with his feet on it. He got a condemnation from Iida, who began to explain to the guy that this was not the way to behave.
- Hey, leave me alone, second-rate. - he told him.
At that time Izuku knocked and came in, which made everyone turn to him, and the guy lowered his gaze out of embarrassment. The bespectacled man immediately rushed over to him.
- Midoriya, tell me honestly, did you know about the other meaning of the exam? You acted like a real hero. I apologise for my words about you earlier. - He said as he bowed.
Midoriya, on the other hand, asked him to stand up.
Then Ochako joined in and they started talking for about two minutes, looking like a couple from the outside.
- Ahem, it's been eight minutes and you still haven't calmed down. - said a man with long black hair falling down to his shoulders and covering his face, his eyes were half open and underneath them were dark bags, lying in a yellow sleeping bag. - My name is Shota Aizawa, I am your handler.
The boys looked up in surprise.
- Put on your sports uniforms and head to the field. - he said and left the classroom.
