Kapitel 64: Chapter 64 : The veil

Emory's body stiffened,muscle tensing involuntarily as if preparing for an unseen threat. His eyes widened and his pupils dilated as he watched the pale man's eyes snap open with startling clarity. Their gazes collided in tense and charged exchange, the pale man's eyes which carried the hue of dark mahogany were like a deep pool of endless sorrow, a hint of tragedy in his gaze. Emory could tell that despite how young and handsome the man looked, he was an existence that was far older than his appearance let off.

There was an otherworldly quality to his presence, an aura of melancholy and refinement that captivates those who behold him. Emory tried to tear his eyes off the man's figure but found himself wanting to stare at the man even more. After inspecting Emory with his eyes, the pale man turned away his gaze and gracefully closed his eyes, returning to his deep slumber once more and Emory felt as if a great pressure had been lifted off his head.
