The kid looked haggard, but Soma did not have mercy on him. Instead, he grilled the kid until he could hunt and care for himself.

After carefully raising the kid to a level where Soma felt comfortable, he finally came back to the city.

However, the view of the city looked different than what he first saw when he came to this floor.

No fire burned the building, and people finally filled the streets again.

The only difference was the absence of a persistent group.

'Just how long did I spend outside the city? It did not feel that long.'

Soma wondered as he stepped into the city.

It had felt like three days to him, but living in the tower for a long time could warp one's sense of time.

"The city looks like it recovered in the month we were gone. I feel a sense of satisfaction after seeing this. Don't you agree?"
