I arched a brow, eyeing Kylo like he was a different person. But at the end of the day, I couldn't stay mad at him. He'd only been looking out for me, in his own creepy twisted way.

I once again felt touched by the amount of care he showed towards me. By the moon goddess, I couldn't help admitting it... He would've been a perfect option if he were my mate.

Sighing silently with relief, I folded my arms in front of my chest. I looked away awkwardly before muttering. "You didn't have to do all that. But... Thank you. I appreciate the effort."
