Kapitel 56: Healing

[Neville Longbottom POV]

I stood outside the Longbottom chamber of St. Mungo Hospital, a place I've been coming to for as long as I can remember.

My grandma had told me about meeting Heir Peverell, which was surprising. I had never talked to him at Hogwarts; he seemed intimidating and scary. As a Gryffindor, the possibility of approaching him seemed even lower. Before going to Hogwarts, my grandma had told me about making an alliance with him, but I doubted I could do that.

It was time for the meeting to begin, and there he was, wearing a black noble suit. His hair was messy, but he looked like a magical prince out of a novel. Maybe he could heal my parents.

He smiled towards me and greeted me with noble etiquettes. "Heir Longbottom."

I stumbled a little and nodded in return. "Heir Peverell."

He nodded and said, "Let's go. We don't want to keep your grandma waiting."

I hurriedly nodded and entered the chamber, with him following behind me.

[Agustus POV]

I couldn't help but sigh, looking at Neville Longbottom, one of my favorite characters in canon. I don't want to glorify him, but he was brave and an idiot. But, out of everything, he was a good friend, which is rare to find.

We both entered the chamber to see an old lady sitting on a chair beside a woman lying on the bed.

The woman had patches of hair on her head. She was Alice Longbottom, the daughter-in-law of Augusta Longbottom.

Next to her was a man with a similar condition. His skin was pale, and he reminded me a little of my butler. The man was Frank Longbottom, a famous Auror of his time.

Both of them were skinny and remained motionless on the bed.

Neville walked towards his grandmother, clearly scared. Two chairs appeared before her as she greeted, "Heir Peverell, I've seen you at meetings, but this is the first time we talk, Please sit."

As I sat down she looked at me deeply and said "So, why this meeting?"

This witch got it, straight to the point, no dilly-dallying. I liked this attitude.

I smiled and said, "You already guessed, didn't you? Yes, I can heal them."

Her strong front wavered a little, but years of pureblood experience kicked in, and she looked me in the eyes and said, "What do you want in return?"

"You're Hogwarts board seats and Wizengamot votes in favor of Peverell House for the next 200 years." Essentially nothing. I had nothing to profit from this deal. Why? I already had the majority of votes in Wizengamot and Hogwarts board. Longbottom votes gave me nothing.

She didn't even think a little and nodded her head, taking a magical oath. "I, Augusta Longbottom, Regent of Longbottom House, swear on the Magic of the Noble House of Longbottom to agree to Heir peverell's Terms. House Longbottom will agree to all decisions at Wizengamot and Hogwarts of House Peverell for the next 200 years." She visibly relaxed and sat back in her seat. Neville was amazed; this was something he hadn't expected before coming to this meeting.

She did the oath even before me healing them. She had a lot of trust in my abilities. I looked at her questioningly, to which she answered by simply saying, "The whole world knows what you can do. I came here expecting this, if you can't heal them nobody can."

I raised my hand and covered both of them in a POD and healed their bodies. They had severe injuries which took a few seconds to heal. Alice Longbottom's left eye, lost in battle, also healed.

Slowly, both of them regained consciousness. Lady Longbottom couldn't stop herself as she rushed to hug Frank, but I stopped her with my magic and said, "They're still weak. A hug like that could crush their bodies. Give them healing potions and food. You can hug them in a day or two."

She thanked me and cried, caressing both their heads. Neville too cried and thanked me repeatedly. A good lad he is.

I guess it's time to meet Lord Black.

[Sirius Black POV]

Today, I had planned to take Harry with me to a Quidditch game of the England team, but I had to cancel it as today Heir Peverell was going to have a meeting with my grandfather. I also had to thank him for everything he had done; he protected Harry from Voldemort, and I couldn't be more grateful to him.

I was dressed in clothes bearing the Black House symbol, as I was once again accepted as a family member due to my grandfather ending my banishment.

Harry, on the other hand, was wearing noble clothes as a Heir Potter should. He looked fuller and healthier than the first time I saw him. I was furious at Dumbledore because of this; he had neglected the boy so much. All my respect towards that man is now gone.

My grandfather had been excited to see Peverell. When I asked him about this, he said, "He is the strongest wizard ever to have lived." I was stunned to hear that. If anyone other than him had said this to me, I would have laughed out loud in his face, but I know my grandfather; he never says these things lightly.

I was there when Voldemort wreaked havoc. He was a single wizard fighting more than 30 wizards; he effortlessly killed them. Even then, my grandfather said there had been many wizards in the past who could do that and were capable of destroying countries.

But to believe a 4th-year Hogwarts student would be on top of those legendary figures was something else.

I now looked forward to meeting him.

[Agustus POV]

I knew the Black family head would not hand me another girl's ownership, even if she is rotting in Azkaban. I had to have something that would make the deal worth it for them, and I exactly have that.

I also had to deal with that marriage contract with the Lestrange family.

There is no way they would negotiate or even think about declining my offer. I couldn't wait to see Narcissa and Aunt Andromeda's reaction to this. I couldn't help but smirk at the thought.
