The man's request startled everyone around. 

As the leader, he couldn't just agree to the man's demand without careful thought. 

"Are you serious about this request?" he asked, "Considering they are women, don't you think this might be unfair?"

The man met Talon's gaze, unwavering. "Why not, Talon? I only want to ensure they're not toying with us. We can't afford mistakes now."

Talon glanced at his group, then back at the man, he nodded. "Alright then. I accept your challenge."

Murmurs rippled through the crowd. Emily, stepped forward and placed a hand on his arm. 

Her voice was soft yet filled with concern. "Talon, shouldn't you consult with Celine and Linda first? This decision affects them directly."

Talon shook his head. "No," he replied. "They won't be the ones leaving this group. Instead, it will be me who steps down if things go wrong."
