Claire's pupils widened slightly. "You're offering me a role in your film? No... where did you get the confidence to invite me to this film project? I've never done anything in acting."

"No, why do you say that?" Talon replied.

"Well," Claire cleared her throat and her gaze shifted back to the screen, "honestly, I'm interested. But are you sure? Maybe I could try a supporting role."

"You might not realize it, Claire, but you have acting skills; I'll show them to you."

Claire slightly lowered her face, and her cheeks turned a faint pink. Talon's compliment sounded casual, and anyone could say something similar. However, hearing it from Talon made it doubly delightful.

"Hey, Talon!" Tobias called out from the doorway. "Come on, we need to go. You haven't forgotten that we have an important appointment today, have you?"

"Wait?" Talon asked, slightly surprised.

"Meeting with Juliette, of course." Tobias's voice was filled with enthusiasm.
