Kapitel 5: dropped

I flung the door open with a swift kick, making a dramatic exit from the Student Council's lofty office on the top floor.

"Oh! The door!"

"Get lost," I grumbled in response.

Ignoring whoever it was that remarked about the door, I stormed away, struggling to maintain a composed expression after the debacle with Leonardo.

I felt utterly humiliated, like I'd never felt before, and it fueled a simmering rage within me that was on the brink of boiling over.

To make matters worse, I found myself tangled in a far larger mess than I had anticipated. It turned out that Jykrain, of all people, was indebted to Dreamless. He had received the remedy to save his mother's life, but it came at a hefty price: he had to provide significant information and other favors in return.
