Kapitel 68: Chapter 68: West Blue Complete, Target North Blue

With the generous aid of the Nipposai, the players' excitement for spending soared instantly.

100, 300, 500...

The experience points on the game interface surged rapidly, drawing more and more Kano Country players to this location as time passed. It was evident that another wave of experience boost was imminent.

Adrian conjured up some Mimicry ghosts for the players, while quietly perusing the game forum.

On the most eye-catching main interface, an intensely red post caught his eye, pinned at the very top by the administrator. The title read "The Big Trouble's Combat Power!"

Adrian's lips twitched slightly, feigning indifference as he clicked into the post.

The contents depicted the recent battle scene vividly. Numerous players had uploaded recorded videos, from which the administrator had selected the most comprehensive and clear version.

Under this red-to-the-extreme post, players were actively engaging with comments. Within a short span of time, dozens of replies had flooded in, accompanied by a barrage of short videos.

Initially, when Hollisa emerged, players voiced their dissatisfaction.

"This woman is hideous! She's easily the ugliest character I've seen in-game! Even uglier than some elderly NPCs!"

"Looks don't matter; strength does!"

"The hand that pierced through your chest 'also does'!"

However, as Adrian showcased his prowess, the tone of the barrage swiftly shifted.

"All hail the Big Trouble!"

"The sword comes!"

"So impressive! So slick! So badass!"

"White Ghost? Is that the Big Trouble's moniker?"

The barrage reached a fever pitch when Adrian effortlessly beheaded Hollisa with a single strike, casting a nonchalant glance at the players.

"Darn it! Fooled again!"

"He's amazing! Loving it!"

"Applause is due here!"

"Strength epitomizes such beings!"

After savoring the heartfelt barrage of comments, Adrian couldn't help but smile to himself. His plan to flaunt his high-level prowess had hit the mark, drawing all the players' attention to him!

...

A short half-day later.

The market potential of the Kano Country players had been temporarily waned. Adrian quickly assessed his gains and prepared to depart.

Alongside accumulating experience points, his standing with the Kano Country faction had taken another hit after dispatching the Nipposai leaders and the minions.

The Nipposai had already become "mortal enemies" with no chance of reconciliation, while other naval factions remained largely unchanged.

The overall favorability of the Kano Country had also changed from "Indifferent" to "hostile."

Strangely, despite his actions, favor with the Eight Treasures Navy had inexplicably risen again, a perplexing turn of events.

It was simply bizarre.

When Adrian killed Hog, the improvement in the Eight Treasures Navy's favorability was understandable, after all, Hog had provoked the Eight Treasures Navy and insulted the pillar Chinjao first.

But why is it rising again now?

Could it be that the Eight Treasures Navy and the Nipposai are naturally at odds?

Adrian looked at the camp relationship. His camp relationship with the Eight Treasures Navy is currently at the [Friendly] stage, which is one small level higher than the previous [Neutral] relationship. It's simply ridiculous.

What did these people from the Two Treasures do to the Eight Treasures side that made them so resentful?

Adrian knew nothing, and he didn't want to explore the hidden story behind it.

Under the reluctant gaze of the players in Kano Country, Adrian's figure disappeared on the spot, heading for his next destination.

...

In the ensuing months, Adrian busily harvested player experience and showcased his prowess, enhancing his reputation and allure. Soon, he'd traversed all newbie villages in the West Blue, amassing considerable experience points.

According to the original plan, after harvesting the experience of the players in the West Blue, Adrian would use his ghostification ability to fly across the Red line and head to the South Blue.

Starting from the West Blue, following the counterclockwise route of the South Blue, East Blue, and North Blue, to travel the four seas, this is the future plan that he once mentioned to Gion.

However, an unexpected news interrupted Adrian's schedule, forcing him to stop in his tracks.

The players' fervor for purchases had outstripped… the Razor Gang's weapon stockpile!

Adrian, taken aback by the news, couldn't help but find it somewhat amusing yet exasperating.

Adrian had never directly managed affairs of the Razor Gang or the Shelby Company. He trusted Tommy's ability to handle matters competently, allowing himself some respite.

However, the Razor Gang, though emerging as a significant force in the West Blue's underground scene, couldn't keep pace with player demands.

Upon reflection, this wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite Tommy's exceptional abilities, the Razor Gang remains a fledgling group, having sprouted up less than a year ago.

Even with Adrian's support behind it, the Razor Gang will not be defeated by ordinary gangs, but the process of developing its forces will not be shortened too much.

It is not impossible to continue to provide Adrian with guns and weapons, but it would disrupt both the Gang and Shelby Company's regular plans.

Out of desperation, Tommy used a Den-Den Mushi to notify Adrian of this news.

"I see." Adrian replied before disconnecting.

Deep in thought, Adrian pondered his options.

Stopping the trade with the other three outer seas players...

This was the first to be ruled out.

Experience points directly influenced Adrian's prowess.

Despite maxing out two abilities from the Ghost Fruit, his main occupation, at level 40, left ample room for improvement. Cutting off trade due to a lack of goods wasn't a viable strategy.

Temporarily suspending weapons trade until the Razor Gang's inventory sufficed and then reopening it to players…

After hesitating for a moment, Adrian also ruled out this option.

For most players, skills are precious, but the price is also quite expensive, which is roughly similar to luxury goods. Weapons and guns that can directly increase their combat power are their real necessities of life.

In the past month, the number of players who purchased weapons from Adrian is far more than the number of players who learned skills.

With no other option, Adrian decided to alter his travel plans. The Razor Gang's weapon stockpile might be insufficient, but other arms dealers operated beyond the West Blue. Adrian diverted his route to the North Blue.

Coincidentally, he planned to reach out to the Donquixote Family, native to the North Blue.
