Kapitel 1488: Chapter 1005: High Tower Battle (Finished) _2

Suddenly, he flapped his wings, advanced towards the high tower, and all the Demon Kings prepared for battle.

But at this moment, a teleportation gate suddenly lit up in the sky above the high tower, and several strange yet familiar figures flew out from inside.

"Is this Hell?" Clark looked around, then turned back to Oliver, who was dressed in work clothes, and asked: "You said Professor Shearer had been missing for a long time. Why would he come to Hell?"

"I don't know either, but our communication was always one way. He would send me plans for revolting in Gotham, and I had no way of responding. We thought this was the safest method."

"But over a month ago, the expected messages didn't come through. I contacted his friends in Gotham and found out he had been missing for a long time. I suspect the Central Intelligence Agency may have intervened."

The expression on Oliver's face was very serious. He said, "While this method of contact is safe, it isn't foolproof. Perhaps he was taken by the CIA, tortured into confessing, died bodily, and his soul came to Hell."

"Can...can...can you stop talking????" A somewhat trembling voice sounded from behind them. Zatanna was the last to exit the teleportation gate. She pointed her trembling finger at the terrifying Bat Monster, bellowing, "Look, is this the time for a chat??!!"

Only then did Clark and Oliver think to survey their surroundings. Oliver frowned and said, "Didn't you say you could track Professor Shearer's soul? Where are we? It looks like... the middle of a battlefield?"

Zatanna swallowed and then asked, "Beelzebub, Azazel...Why are these two Satans here? And who's that?... Oh, never mind. The key question is: What's up with that Bat Monster??!!"

"I'm definitely tracking Shearer's soul and it's leading us through the shortest route." Zatanna said to Oliver. She then glanced at the compass in her hand, saying, "That's right, I am tracking the scent of Shearer's soul. Hold on, Batman is nearby, where is he?"

As the two of them were studying the readings on the compass, Clark looked far into the distance and suddenly noticed something was not right.

"What's that?!" Clark looked up at the massive claw of the bat. There was a small shadow present, which appeared pale, bloody and unconscious. However, its face was very familiar.

"Professor Shearer!!!!" Clark yelled out.

Oliver and Zatanna both looked over. Zatanna took out a monocle, put it on, and exclaimed, "Oh my God! That's Shearer's soul! He's been captured by the Bat Monster. We have to save him!!"

With that said, Zatanna rolled up her sleeves, raised a finger, and almost let the Antilanguage Magic slip out. But, just then, she had a sudden realization, took a deep breath, and said, "Wait, Clark, you're the one called Clark, right? You can't divert your strength, the teleportation gate won't transfer us that quickly, stop!!!"

However, Clark was already consumed by rage. During this time, he had been using his vacation to travel through Central America, helping the people there with their revolution. Meanwhile, Oliver had shared with him the guiding letters sent by Shearer.

Originally, Clark did not understand much about Shearer. However, the guidance provided by Shearer was all for the people's benefit, much more effective than their brute force actions. His revealing insights often led Clark to a sudden understanding, as if opening a door to a new world.

Because the letters were limited in length, Shearer could not fully express their egalitarian language style. Through the words in the letters, Clark got to know an erudite, compassionate professor who cared deeply about the people.

Besides gratitude for his guidance, Clark also felt guilty about having previously caused damage to Shearer's house.

Now, seeing the revolutionary mentor and professor he revered being seized by a monster, could Superman, given his temperament, really hold back?

Despite Zatanna's previous statements to Clark about his soul being too powerful for the bandwidth of the teleportation gate to transmit, and so he could only arrive in Hell through projection, he was poised to act.

But Clark, driven by rage, gave no thought to the consequences, he just instinctively unleashed his powers.

In an instant, a sun rose from the high tower, and the demons bathed in this light for the first time, greeted the brightest and most powerful force in the world with screams and howls.

However, behind him, Zatanna showed a horrified expression. She grabbed Oliver and rushed towards the still open portal, shouting, "He's channeling too much power too quickly... he's about to explode, run!!!"

With a "swoosh" sound, Zatanna pulled Oliver back into the portal. The next second, the light of the sun leveled the sky of the entire Hell.

The demons had never seen the real sun. Before this, they did not know how beautiful yet dangerous the light from a star explosion could be. But now, they have experienced it firsthand.

The nearly limitless strength of Superman gave him almost infinite soul energy. The Clark that came here was just a projection.

He drew too much power from his corporeal soul too quickly, which he couldn't control, resulting in a massive explosion.

A point of light burst open, followed by a spiraling blinding light. Amid the shattered space, a dazzling starry sky was revealed.

Then, as the intense chaotic energy swept over the high tower, all the Demon Lords gave off screams and were blown away.

They were the embodiments of darkness, restrained by the power of light and justice. Superman represented the brightest force in the universe. After gathering all the soul energy and exploding, not a single demon could withstand such an impact.

Powerful demons like Beelzebub and Azazel suffered heavy injuries instantly. The weaker demons turned to dust in a void of white light.

More importantly, the high tower at the edge of the explosion radius was blown away, rolling on the ground a few times before collapsing into the dust.

Like an innocent road post in a chain-reaction car accident, lying on the side of the road.

All the Shearers within the high tower were like clothes in a washing machine. After being tossed and turned violently, they lay on the ground, bloodied and incapacitated.

Conspiracy Xile, covered in dust, got up from the ground, reached out a hand to grab the railing, and coughed as he spat out dust, with his upper body resting on the railing.

Then, a pair of polished shoes came into his view.

Conspiracy Xile looked up along the suit trousers to see a dark red suit and a meticulously tied tie, and then, DC Schiller's menacing smile.

DC Schiller stood on the railing in the middle of the collapsed high tower, looked down at the Shearers who were strewn about, showing a highly satisfied smile.

"No aid for a dying man, huh?"

Behind him, a hand in a white lab coat sleeve shakily stretched out, Marvel Schiller's anguished voice echoed throughout the high tower:

"I've said it before... he's the most ungrateful of us all!!!!!!!"
