Kapitel 228: Who showed up

"This is pathetic," Delilah commented as she watched the sight in front of her with mixed emotions.

Zephyr looked at his woman, who was starting to appear stronger than she looked, and raked his gaze up and down her body.

She was starting to act like a real royal soldier, but what amazed me these days was how actively she participated in all these missions. 

If there had been any average she-wolf, she wouldn't have liked the sight of it, but Delilah has volunteered to inspect the place herself.

Wasn't she supposed to be a meek, innocent girl? Why was she suddenly turning into a warrior?

While he did not dislike this sudden change, it didn't mean he was a big fan of it either. He would've really preferred it if she had been a little meek and, like other girls, had tried to avoid problems.

But she? She actively steps ahead and enjoys them like she is in some kind of adventure world with multiple lives. 

Zephyr sighed.
