"What did she say? How long will it take?" Jacob asked as he watched his boss lingering at the staircase, waiting for his woman to arrive.

It wasn't Delilah's fault.

If it had been in her hands, she would've gotten ready already, but on Roy's recommendation, they called his sister who was a makeup artist in the kingdom.

"Such things take time, Jacob. Be patient. She is a woman for heaven's sake! Let her shine tonight," Roy said as he looked at his boss warily, hoping he wouldn't lose his patience with him.

Then again, why would he get angry? Look at that man in love, looking at the third floor with such an earnest look on his face from the past 30 minutes.

"I think you should call your sister and ask. Prince Elwin and the future princess are already leaving in five minutes," Jacob said again.

However, one deep breath from Zephyr as the dangerous man looked at him was more than enough for Jacob to shut up immediately.
