Kapitel 172: Nickolas's dilemma

"So what were you guys doing?" Roy asked the question on behalf of his boss since they knew that their boss didn't like to talk much unless he was talking to Delilah these days.

"Oh, it's nothing. We just had some fun. There was this competition for couples. It was a dancing competition. You should've been here and seen how good I was. We even won the second prize. See," Delilah pulled out the watch from her little bag, and placed it on the counter.

Jacob, who was standing beside his boss, gulped when he saw his boss glaring at the watch as if he wanted it to burst into millions of pieces and quickly grabbed the electronic device.

He was afraid their boss would let his intrusive thoughts win and end up hurting Miss Delilah, which would result in all of them bearing the consequences.

"This is a nice watch. Is it a couple watch?" Jacob asked and Delilah nodded.

"Yes, the other one is with Nickolas," Delilah said.
