Kapitel 128: Sleeping together

"Mmmm," Katherine moaned in her sleep, feeling restless.

Moving in her place slightly, she smiled with contentment when she felt someone's warmth behind her, making her relax.

Wait. Someone's warmth? 

Katherine's eyes flew open, and she quickly turned around to see who it was, her spy instincts immediately awakening.

However, seeing Maximus lying on the ground, probably asleep, she didn't know if it was okay to scream in horror like she had decided to do earlier.

But what was he doing here in the first place? 

Could it be that because he helped her get away from Tianna, he didn't have a tent to sleep in? That might be the case. 

Katherine nodded to herself as she laid back in her place, noticing how Maximus was maintaining a respectful distance from her, and it was she who snuck to his side. 

Then again, it wasn't her fault that no one told her he was going to join her too.
