Kapitel 14: Chapter 14 - Naked angel

Hui Lang had tried to escape over and over, but every time he failed. Lu Chen, looking amused by the pig's endless attempts, scooped him up and carried him over to Tian, who was still fast asleep. With a gentle nudge, Lu Chen woke him up.

Tian stirred slowly, his soft, slightly curly hair all messy and adorable, some strands falling over his forehead.

His eyes opened lazily, blinking a few times as if trying to shake off sleep.

His gaze was a little hazy at first, his watery eyes reflecting the light, giving them a soft shimmer.

He looked up at Lu Chen, and for a moment, both Lu Chen and the pig—Hui Lang—just stared at him in silence.

Tian was still half-asleep, his expression relaxed, and with his messy curls framing his face, he looked even more angelic than usual.

With a small yawn, Tian smiled drowsily. "Morning," he mumbled, his voice barely awake.

Hui Lang, still close to Tian's face, took a deep breath and instantly regretted it. He started wriggling in Lu Chen's arms, almost choking from the smell.

Noticing the pig's reaction, Tian sniffed his own breath, and his eyes widened. "Oh my god, why do I smell like that? I never smell! My breath used to smell like roses! Where's my rosy breath?" he said, genuinely horrified.

Lu Chen laughed and handed the struggling pig to Tian. "There's a toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom. Use it. Oh, and the convenience store I mentioned is nearby. Want me to take you there before I head to work?"

"Yes, please," Tian replied, squeezing the squirming pig. "And what about him? Bacon's a boy, by the way."

Lu Chen nodded, glancing at the pig. "He's been trying to escape all day. How about you take him with you to the store? The owner's cool with animals. Later tonight, we'll take him to the vet to see if he's chipped, okay?"

As he spoke, Lu Chen turned away and started changing his clothes.

Tian's sleepy eyes followed him as Lu Chen pulled off his shirt. His back was lean but defined, the muscles shifting as he stretched his arms out. It wasn't that Tian was attracted to him or anything—he just noticed how surprisingly strong Lu Chen looked for someone so slim.

Tian glanced at his own arm and frowned slightly. "Okay, sure," he said absentmindedly, still looking at his own scrawny arm compared to Lu Chen's.

Lu Chen, now dressed in a fresh shirt, came back over. "I made porridge for breakfast and packed some for you. You can eat it on the way." He reached out and ruffled Tian's already messy hair, making it worse. "Be careful out there, alright? Don't follow strangers home."

Tian blinked, then grinned up at him. "You're a stranger," he teased. "But you're not so bad."

Lu Chen chuckled. "Yeah, but I'm the nice kind of stranger. Not everyone's like that. So don't follow anyone, don't eat anything random people give you, and don't trust everybody you meet, got it?" He was full-on in big-brother mode now, nagging him like he always did.

Tian just nodded, feeling a little nostalgic. His old angel seniors used to tell him the same stuff all the time.

He missed them a lot, his smile wilted slightly.

"We'll get you some new clothes tonight," Lu Chen said, handing him a fresh set for the day. "There's a charity shop nearby with some decent stuff." He paused, checking Tian's expression. "You alright?"

Tian smiled, feeling better. "Yeah, all good." He squeezed the piglet, pulling him closer. "And so is Bacon, right?" He lifted the pig's paw and waved it.

Hui Lang pushed his hand away with a grunt, looking thoroughly annoyed.

"See? He already likes me," Tian said, laughing.

Tian sighed, glancing at Bacon as he started getting dressed.

He unfolded the clothes and tossed them on the bed. But the moment he let the pig go, it made a break for the door, snout-first, like he was ready to escape at the first chance.

"Oh no, you don't," Tian muttered, quickly shutting the door to block his way out. With a quick look back to make sure the pig stayed put, he started pulling off his clothes, flinging them onto the floor without much thought.

Hui Lang, still facing the door, turned just in time to catch the sight of Tian completely naked. His little piggy eyes went wide. Why doesn't he have any body hair? he thought, stunned. Do angels just... not have any? The pig's thoughts trailed off awkwardly, and he immediately turned away, trying to pretend he hadn't seen anything.

Meanwhile, Tian didn't notice a thing as he grabbed the new clothes and rushed to the bathroom, totally unaware of the pig's distress. "Just gotta brush my teeth real quick," he mumbled, the door left open just a crack.

Hui Lang's eyes flicked to the small gap. Now's my chance! Without wasting a second, he scrambled up and darted toward the open door, determined to make his escape.

But just as Hui Lang thought he was free, Tian—halfway through brushing his teeth—spotted him. "Hey!" he called out, toothpaste foaming in his mouth. In a flash, he was out of the bathroom, still completely naked, and grabbed the pig before he could escape.

"No, you don't! You're dirty too. Let's take a bath together!" Tian said, smiling like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Hui Lang's piggy eyes widened in horror. A bath?! Together?! NOOOOOO!!!! I'M NOT GAY, LET GO!! His inner thoughts screamed, but all that came out were frantic squeals. He flailed his little legs desperately, trying to break free from the naked angel's grip, but it was no use.

Tian, still completely unaware of Hui Lang's panic, hugged the squirming pig closer. "Relax, it'll be fine. We'll be clean in no time!"

I don't need to be clean! I need to get away from you! Hui Lang thought, squealing even louder as Tian carried him toward the bathroom. His hooves kicked out helplessly, but he was stuck.

Tian set him down gently in the bathtub, still grinning. "Alright, Bacon, time for a scrub. You'll feel so much better after, I promise."

This is how It ends. In a bathtub. With a naked angel.
