The people sitting beside her turned to look at the woman, and one of them asked,

"What do you mean? The gamers are fighting for the prize, not themselves. Ms. Havilah, are you scared now that your avatar is about to lose?"

"That's certainly a creative approach," the old woman remarked with a straight face.

The person nodded, taking the woman's words as a compliment. "We all thought your avatar would win the game when she got the prize first, but then others came in. Now they're fighting for it, and it clearly shows that your avatar is losing the game."

"Wait, maybe I'm missing something here. Can you explain that again?" Ms. Havilah reclined in her chair, mirth now dancing in her eyes.
