It was her uncle.
Yvonne never expected to see him there. He was just the same as her father and will always support whatever her father says; in other words, he is a bootlicker, as Yvonne saw it.
"You should be careful," her uncle sternly warns.
Yvonne furrowed her brows.
"I am sorry," Yvonne apologized once again, her uncle walking away without further words.
As he departed, Yvonne wondered why he was different from her father. Shouldn't he have lost money? Why does he seem rich? Her grandfather left nothing for him, or could he have used his wife's money?
The thought lingered in her mind as she observed him walking away. Yvonne went to the waiting room to get her purse. Alisa saw Yvonne and was waiving at her, and Yvonne smiled at her.
"Mom, have you made up with Alexis?" Alisa inquired.
Yvonne nodded affirmatively.
