Kapitel 43: Chapter 43

Yvonne swallowed hard, her hand trembling slightly as she faced Javier. 

"Where is Logan?" he asked. 

Yvonne finally composed herself, confident that he wouldn't recognize her face due to her plastic surgery. 

"He is inside," she said, her voice steadier now. "Let me get him for you." 

Closing the door behind her, Yvonne took a moment to breathe. 

"Who is there?" Logan's voice echoed from the kitchen. "Isn't it the delivery?" 

"No, it is Javier," she said. 

"Why is he here?" Logan said as he opened the door. "Why are you here?" 

Javier was about to enter when Logan stopped him, closing the door behind him. "Why are you here?" Logan pressed. "I don't think we are friends for you to visit my house." 

"I want to make a deal with you," Javier stated. 

"What deal?" Logan questioned, skeptically. 

"I am sure you know about the chaos Steward is doing," Javier explained. "Steward is on the run."
